Just when you thought a January birthday couldn't get any crappier... What do people have planned?

I've always hated my birthday being in January. Everyone is broke and depressed after Christmas. And everyone seems to only speak about January in derogatory ways! And now....covid. Not that important in the grand scheme of things, I know, but what are fellow January birthday sufferers planning? Mine's a milestone one too...

I'm planning mine already! 3rd Jan. Pretty crap usually, but I've come to terms with it.

Like you OP I just can't bring myself to do the pretend birthday in the summer. Has literally no meaning for me, although I think it's a great idea if you want to do it.

I am planning a gluten free Chinese takeaway from a specific place that does it. With some prosecco and that's it pretty much. Probably a movie too. So just like my normal 3rd Jan birthday!!
