Just something fun and lighthearted.
What have you asked for or what would you wish for?
I've asked for a lamp for my hallway (is this sad? but I love decorating), mascara (the benefit they're real one I think it's brill) and a new coat.
I wish I could have a trip home to see the family would easily give up my presents for that 😘Flowers

I want a chocolate orange. Just for me, not to share.

Sooverthemill · 19/11/2020 11:09

Wasn't going to ask for anything this year but DH announced he wanted an expensive recording software program for Christmas so I'm having Veja trainers and earrings ( to exactly match how much his software is!, god I'm a child). I've put some little things on my Pinterest list for our adult kids to get if they wish but they know I'm good with a book!

CarnageAtTheGardenCentre · 19/11/2020 11:17

I have asked for one of those storm bottles, which I know has been delivered, but I can’t obviously have it until Xmas Day.

DH doesn’t know what he wants, which is not entirely unusual.

For the house, we are buying a Bose sound-bar, and hoping it’ll come down in price for Black Friday. Watching ... 👀

I have asked for a weighted blanket, a monq personal diffuser, a colourful new lip stud, a long hot water bottle and a night time ceiling projector thing. I always have loads of things that I would like so I send a list to my DH and he picks a few xx

I’ve asked for one of our spare
bedrooms to be cleared out and kitted out as a workroom for me...and it’s happening!😁

SeaKingdom · 19/11/2020 11:22

My list includes an exercise mat, a mat for keeping jigsaw puzzles together, cardigans and leggings (don't get out much!), bath bubbles and scented candles. And Richard Osman's book.

CarnageAtTheGardenCentre · 19/11/2020 11:24

Yes @nettytree, it is for weather prediction 🙂.

IncludeWomenInTheSequel · 19/11/2020 11:25

A guitar! I decided during lockdown that I needed to find something to do that was just mine so I'm going to take guitar lessons.

MotherWol · 19/11/2020 11:35

Apparently I'm difficult to buy for, but there are loads of things I'd like for Christmas! I've asked for books, soap, hand cream, gym clothes, house plants, posh chocolate, nice coffee and non-alcoholic drinks. I'd also really love some new trainers, and the Pucket board game.

Mandalalorianna · 19/11/2020 11:39

Some good bluetooth ear buds.

isseywith4vampirecats · 19/11/2020 11:42

Nothing OH is impossible to buy for and at 64 theres nothing i need or want

dinodiva · 19/11/2020 11:46

I have a charity place to run the marathon next year, so running gear will be to of my list. Other than that I’d quite like some new saucepans and a large toblerone.

JoeCalFuckingZaghe · 19/11/2020 11:49

Things I need as I can’t afford to replace after bring made redundant. Hairdryer as mine melted. Slippers and a dressing gown as they’re falling to bits.
A new job and to not worry about money and my mh rapidly declining would be the best present

HotSince63 · 19/11/2020 11:50

Some new Ugg slippers, my current pair are about 7 years old and are completely worn out.

TheSockMonster · 19/11/2020 11:52

Books! Coffee table type ones, as I use kindle, audible and the library for day to day reading.

I don’t really want much and I’m quite picky with what I need so prefer to buy things myself. I don’t like surprises, which is hard for poor DH as he really likes to give presents and surprise people.

RedTawny · 19/11/2020 11:53

Some new running trainers and a book I wanted. I've ordered both and put them in my dhs wardrobe

elizabethdraper · 19/11/2020 11:54

Sweaty Betty leggings

SingingSands · 19/11/2020 12:00

Barrack Obama's new book, some Chelsea boots and a new hi-vis running top.

My birthday is less than a month after Christmas so I've also cheekily earmarked some perfume for that as my current bottle is nearly finished.

Simplyunacceptable · 19/11/2020 12:00

A new phone. I’m using DH’s old iPhone X and the screen is seriously damaged. It’s so damaged, there’s a big white line down it and sometimes it freaks out and starts typing random things by itself. DH is getting me a new one this month as an early Christmas present and I can’t wait.

Natsku · 19/11/2020 12:15

A subscription to Private Eye

DeepfriedPizza · 19/11/2020 12:21

I’ve asked for naice bubble bath

ThursdayLastWeek · 19/11/2020 12:23

A new yoga mat since it seems likely I’ll be doing Pilates/work outs at home for the foreseeable.

And some of that nice almond shower oil from loccitane.

Magissa · 19/11/2020 12:24
