Nostalgia time- can anyone remember?

I'm talking about 1970s-1980s soap and talc style gift sets. This is driving me mad trying to remember...a particular brand, always around at Christmas...
It's not:
Woods of Windsor
Morny
Crabtree and Evelyn.

Any ideas on this vague conundrum of mine?

Aquamanda?

TheSilentStars · 17/11/2020 19:42

I'm sure it had two words. Did soap sets and bubble bath usually in Boots.
Going down a rabbit hole of childhood nostalgia with all of these suggestions though!

I used to work in a very old branch of Lloyds Pharmacy (it had previously been a family owned chemist for decades) which sold that sort of thing - soaps shaped like little lemons and sets with talc and wrapped soap nestling in paper. The main brands were Yardley and Bronnley though, I can’t think of any more!

Sarah Michaels? It usually came in a basket with a couple of bottles of bath stuff and some bars of soap.

Boots did a range of smelly gift sets called Flower Garden where each colour was a different flower. Purple was lavender, green was lily of the valley, I can't remember the others. It was in a box with foil wrapped bath cubes, talc, and bubble bath.

Body Shop ones were the best though, they had bath pearls.

TheSilentStars · 18/11/2020 06:25

Nope. Confused
But I can remember all of these. My gran had some Hartnell and I thought it was the height of sophistication. Perhaps I've just got a false memory about this other brand! In my head I associate it more with Woods of Windsor and Crabtree and Evelyn as a name...and definitely boxes with 3 soaps in!
