We stayed at Sveti Stefan in Montenegro before it was taken over by Amman Resorts . It’s now out of our price range but would love to return.
A really posh castle in Scotland

wowfudge · 15/11/2020 07:36

I'd love to tour Egypt with a Nile cruise included.

Several summers really getting to know the Greek islands.

OneLinePlease · 15/11/2020 08:21

1 - Japan (Tokyo, Disneyland, Mt Fuji, Kyoto)
2 - Hawaii (in reality I think we'll combine with the Yosemite trip)
3 - Yosemite
4 - Somewhere for scuba diving

But honestly at the minute I'm daydreaming more about our regular holidays. Disney world. Weekends in Paris. Driving to Calais for a day shopping and eating. Canaries for a week in the sun.

OneLinePlease · 15/11/2020 08:22

Oh Alaska cruise too. Forgot that one.

Roselilly36 · 15/11/2020 08:24

When we were in Rome I really wanted to be one if this rich people who arrived at the attraction in a black minivan (air con) and got out and went straight in without queuing.

Having been on a Royal Caribbean cruise I'd also like to go on a proper super luxurious one!!

Catname · 15/11/2020 09:14

Venice and Rio Carnivals
Learning to Tango in Buenos Aires
Horse riding in Patagonia
Galápagos Islands cruise

IdblowJonSnow · 15/11/2020 09:17

Of your five OP it would be Iceland.
I'd also really like to go to Vietnam.
North America is the only continent I haven't travelled around but it's so big I wouldn't know where to start!

Changeofheartinlockdown · 15/11/2020 09:18

I’ve never thought about Alaska... really intriguing

And us road trip would be amazing!

StarcourtMall · 15/11/2020 09:19

Having saved money this year from not going anywhere I hope we can do a ‘big’ one next year but really can’t decide which one:
-Japan
-Florida Keys
-Canadian Rockies
-Caribbean island
-Nashville/Memphis/New Orleans (probably save this one for our 25th wedding anniversary without the teens)

1990s · 15/11/2020 09:20

Really keen on a safari of some kind, and a Nile cruise! And diving not done and diving yet.

So much to look forward to!

Also South America generally

Bucket List holidays? A few weeks into Lockdown 0.1 my husband realised that I was becoming more and more frustrated that all our travel plans for 2020 were disappearing.
He found a map of the world and pinned it on the kitchen wall. He handed me a dart and told me to throw it at the map - where ever it landed, we would go there for a holiday when all this is over!
I threw - and - we are going to be spending our holiday behind the fridge!

OllysArmy · 15/11/2020 09:31

I am very fortunate to have had the opportunity to take long haul holidays over the past 15 years however there are still many more places I want to go and places I want to revisit. If I could plan for 2021 this would be my wish list.

  1. Northern Australia or Western Australia.
  2. Patagonia
  3. Iceland
  4. New Zealand
  5. Madagascar

In reality next year I would be happy with 2 weeks anywhere.
