Christmas supermarket slots?

What's it like trying to get one? I'm guessing super crazy normally and even worse this year?

Tesco haven't released theirs yet. Theyre opening them to Delivery Pass customers on the 13th

Asda slots are now available to non pass holders.

Morrisons are booking at the moment for delivery pass customers until the 10th I think? So then presumably open to all.

Sainsbury's have dates when they release them to delivery pass holders

Morrison’s was all good. Loads of availability if you have a delivery pass.

Just booked my Asda one, could only get a click and collect but that's ok - off to bed now

Ocado released theirs about three weeks ago...certainly for my area they have all gone.

Waitrose released theirs a while ago. The slots in my area are all booked.

I’ve booked Waitrose slots for myself & my dc who is at uni 200 miles & may not be able to come back due to restrictions. At least this way my dc & housemates will be able to have decent food as I’ll place & pay for the order.

Morrisons have them but you have to pay even for your prepaid days if you have a delivery pass

I would ideally like 23rd December? Wonder if its better to try and book and earlier date and then try to change it when the 23rd December slots become available?

I have a Morrisons delivery pass but haven't had any emails about Christmas slots, and haven't seen any on the website despite checking quite regularly so I'm not sure if they haven't been released for my area yet.

I could only get the 22nd December for me & my dc. Tesco pass holders release on Friday so May try that for 23rd & then release waitrose slots.

I’ve booked my Morrison’s one for the 22nd I think. It was free delivery

No Waitrose slots available here when I tried to book three weeks ago. I've found a click and collect slot on 22nd December at a store about 45 minutes away. Figured it's better than nothing. Will still be quicker than having to haul around a store in a mask.

Booked my Asda click and collect slot yesterday, for the 23rd Dec

Waitrose & M&S have already released their delivery/click and collect slots.

Tesco are available to delivery pass holders on Friday and then on the 20th for everyone else.
Tesco are doing a queuing system on the 13th and only allowing you to book 1 slot for week commencing 21st December. They also seem to be encouraging you to put 1 item in your basket to secure the slot and returning later to complete the shop. I presume it's so the site doesn't overload with people doing a full shop while others wait for their slot

We're waiting on Tesco to release them (we have a delivery saver). Ideally we'd like delivery as we're not sure if Dh will still be off or not (hopefully not!) but a click & collect will do. I'm sure it will be busier this year but we've never really struggled in the past, usually book 23rd.

We just put basic fruit, milk & bread in to save it as we'll need those then I'll add the Christmas food & other meals for that week when I do the meal plan.

All gone round here. Hoping to get some frozen stuff or a click and collect booked in nearer the time.

i booked slot for morrison on 23rd, they were released this weekfor delivery pass holders. Slot was free as usual. they were going quickly though and none left for 23rd a bit later on when I checked.

Morrisons - if you go on the app there is a box under "book your delivery" where you can book the Christmas slots.

When the slots were released the email went to my promotions folder rather than my inbox so I nearly missed it.

I'm an Asda delivery pass holder. Randomly saw a thread on here last week about someone having booked their slot so got mine easily. Next day I got an email telling me slots were available so I don't know if the slots had gone live early or the email was late but I'm grateful to that thread and even DH was singing Mumsnet's praises
