In a letter to fans, Depp said he had been "asked to resign" from his role as Gellert Grindelwald and had "respected that and agreed to that request".

Good.

I just think its rich people saying shes the victim and if she did hit, throw, mentally, emotionally and verbally abuse him its because he started. What if its the other way round and he was tired of all her abuse and socked her back? Apparently according to mn women never start it though.

Shaniac · 08/11/2020 17:40

She also goaded him into a fight the day his mother died. Who the fuck does thag except an abuser.

But that’s not what the judge found. He found based on the evidence provided that depp was guilty of domestic violence as she had said he was. The judge did not find it was a fight and he was goaded. He found he was proactively violent to her.

How easy it is to ignore JD violent outbursts

Smashing up hotel rooms attacking security guards and crew members but poor tortured artist couldn’t help himself

Fieldofyellowflowers · 08/11/2020 18:05

Both as bad as each other. If Amber Heard lost her case for hitting him, would you think that was good? Or would you think that she should not have been held accountable because she is a woman?

Fieldofyellowflowers · 08/11/2020 18:08

I think that it is you that is not ok with the idea that women can be capable of domestic violence, OP.

Depp should be held accountable for his actions but so should she. A man hitting a woman is never ok and a woman hitting a man is never ok.

Lol yet your happy to ignore AH's violent outbursts.

Shaniac · 08/11/2020 18:11

@Fieldofyellowflowers. 100% agree with you here. If both are guilty both should be equally accountable. Not JD is ridiculed, loses his job, is treated this way whilst she gets off scott free for her crimes simply because she is female. She is a known abuser and has reams and reams of very serious evidence against her not just with JD bht others as well. Just because her victims were intimidated and she settled with JD out of court does not make her innocent when its all caught on tape.

ItsAlwaysSunnyOnMN · 08/11/2020 18:15

I haven’t mentioned AH

HeadNorth · 08/11/2020 18:24

Wife beater Johnny Depp bought the case and it was found against him. 'If they are both guilty' is specious whataboutery. He chose to bring a court case, the judge found he beat his wife. He is a wife beater, whatever you, personally, think of his wife, he is still a wife beater.

@LastGoldenDaysOfSummer

Good to see the tide is turning against Heard. Awful woman.
Thank god! Seeing little to no support for her
BelleSausage · 08/11/2020 21:13

Has anyone actually looked up the testimony from Heard‘s ex assistant. It is hair raising. Amber was preparing to steal someone else’s rape story and use it as a false allegation against Depp.

Has this allegation been proven in court? The answer is no. Which means you are potentially libelling Amber.
Arielsgift · 08/11/2020 21:58

"Which means you are potentially libelling Amber"

As is half of twitter and the internet then. Lol. Keep spouting that though

SheepandCow · 08/11/2020 23:18

Don't see anything to lol about wrt this potential libel.
Other people potentially doing it too isn't an excuse.

Arielsgift · 09/11/2020 00:03

Potentially? All I need to do is go onto twitter and see it for myself.
