We have had a lovely standard lamp delivered. It's white and quite minimalistic which I wasn't sure would look right in our front room however, it's discreet, has 3 brightness settings and the head is bendy so I can change where I want the light.

I'm delighted with it! Sad eh?!

Also some leggings for our daughter, some shorts for hubby (he lives in them), and a book to read on Christmas Eve to the kiddie winks.

I'm definitely the most excited about the lamp (can you tell?) 🤣

A retro style shirt dress with lightening bolts print and a cable knit pinky cream cardigan. I tried for ages to get the dress on, wouldn't fit over the boobs, wouldn't go over my hips and then I realised it had a concealed side zip. 😂 It's a bit tight on the boobs but otherwise a gorgeous dress.
