Share your little excitements amid the tedium of lockdown. We’ve had seven pairs of jogging bottoms for DD from Next and a packet of Amazon Basics batteries. Such thrills!

Amazingly, nothing at all today. Yesterday, I got a package of beautiful fabrics and some groceries from waitrose - possibly the last lot this year now they've reduced slot availability, again.

Hot chocolate from whittards 😀 I got the new toffee popcorn one and the 70%. I also ordered the chilli chocolate but it was out of stock ☹️

The popcorn one is so good 🤤

MinnieJackson · 05/11/2020 19:16

A desk for sons Xmas pressie. Headphones for other son and a 3 pack of charger cables. Also a letter from an old friend that I lost contact with ten years ago saying that she'll always consider me her best friend, with a stamp to write back and a friendship bracelet. It was so unexpected and a really nice surprise Grin

cheeseismydownfall · 05/11/2020 19:19

Fluconazole, to treat thrush that's been bothering me for over a week.

I think I should have ordered wine instead!

Just had another delivery of two fancyish water bottles for the kids for Christmas and a Switch game.

GrouchyKiwi · 05/11/2020 19:27

A jar of Epsom salts for nice hot baths to relieve my aching joints.

A telescope for the children for Christmas from their grandparents.

Fluffycloudland77 · 05/11/2020 19:27

I think I might win this thread.

A cover for the outside tap to stop it freezing up. Free off the water board.

limesoda · 05/11/2020 19:30

An insulin pump. Mine broke yesterday, and I am so relieved the replacement arrived so quickly.

Kenworthington · 05/11/2020 19:31

A wooden spoon carving kit for dh for Xmas
Some cotton batting for some quilts I want to make
A pair of ‘tiny hands’ for dd’s stocking

tobee · 05/11/2020 19:33

Tesco delivery, Waitrose Rapid top up as lots of Tesco delivery was out of stock, 3 x large bags of wood shavings for the guinea pigs.

It's all glamour here.

TravellingSpoon · 05/11/2020 19:34

My Harkel jumper I ordered after a thread on here calling them nasty.

LemonDrizzles · 05/11/2020 19:35

A replacement power supply for laptop. Bottles and pouches to store breastmilk.

ShakespearesSisters · 05/11/2020 19:36

Some hygge headbands to keep my ears warm when I go for a walk/jog/run.

Diva66 · 05/11/2020 19:36

A new toaster. The old one stopped working. I have such an exciting glamorous life.

33goingon64 · 05/11/2020 19:42

No delivery but had an electric point put in for our new car arriving next week AND an architect came round to quote for our kitchen extension. Both very exciting. We hardly have any visitors at home even in normal circumstances so a bit ironic considering lockdown starting today. I think both are broadly 'construction' workers... 😬

chipshopElvis · 05/11/2020 19:44

Coat for DS and a piano stool.
