Share your little excitements amid the tedium of lockdown. We’ve had seven pairs of jogging bottoms for DD from Next and a packet of Amazon Basics batteries. Such thrills!

A couple of presents for DS as it’s his birthday tomorrow, wahoooo! Lockdown birthday 3 of 4 for this household (I know basically everyone has had a lockdown birthday by this point haha. 2 May 2 Nov for us!).
Also a big thing of hand san and a cable for DH’s guitar. And I went out to collect bday balloons. Woo!

2 lovely packages for me for once!
Whistles had a 20% off sale and I got a lovely pair of Whistles Asha boots and a green sweatshirt with black velvet polka dots - love them both.
I am 13lbs down in the past 5 weeks and I have 2.5 stones to lose in total so had promised myself that I would have a (non-edible) treat when I hit each stone.

I’m trying to think if I’ve actually had anything delivered today...🤔 no I don’t think so...But yesterday I took delivery of a camel merino wool poncho and a camel/cream scarf from Jigsaw. I kept the poncho but returned the scarf as although I liked it a lot I didn’t love it. My last delivery before that was a ceramic angel tree ornament which I’m going to send to my daughters in their Christmas box, and a bunch of paper strips for making woven stars.

A new hand blender so that we can make soup again after ours fell apart, and one of DS1s Christmas present. A Lego minifigure of Quicksilver from Marvel, that DH paid £33 for. In contrast, the hand blender cost £20 and DH got the MUG tattoo on his head free with his minifig purchase (DS however, will be absolutely thrilled).

M&S clementine gin, Prosecco and nut hamper (thanks to the Christmas thread). However the gin bottle was cracked and leaking. It was meant to be a present for a friend but I’ve managed to salvage most of it and siphoned it into another bottle so I suppose I’ll just have to drink it myself! M&S has refunded me and I get to keep the Prosecco and nuts 👍😊
