Having Avery heavy period, soaking tirht though pads even when wearing three at once , and woke up feeling odd . Incredibly dizzy , dry mouth, headache and can’t sit up much . Think dehydrated . Had horrible nightmares was being shot then o think hallicating when woke up . In a panic a bit . Very sore too and can’t have more pain killers . Managed a glass of water but scared to go back to sleep . Not sure what to do .

sorry to hear you are feeling poorly can you call NHS Direct?

Anordinarymum · 04/11/2020 02:09

Yes I think you should do this if you have lost a lot of blood

SirusTheVirus · 04/11/2020 02:14

Hope you're okay Thanks I had similar recently and was prescribed Transexamic Acid to slow the bleeding which helped. Take paracetamol rather than ibuprofen. As other posters have said phone 111.

Anordinarymum · 04/11/2020 02:20

Keep talking OP Make that call now

Sycamoretrees · 04/11/2020 02:23

I think you need medical attention, can you wake your Mum up?

Folicky · 04/11/2020 02:23

Hypnopompic hallucinations ...seeing things when waking, nothing to worry about of themselves. Hope you feel better soon x

BikeRunSki · 04/11/2020 02:24

The weirdness will be because you have lost so much blood. You have lost an awful lot of blood thought and need medical attention - you wouldn’t hesitate if you were losing blood from anywhere else! Can your mum take you to A&E?

Redwinestillfine · 04/11/2020 02:25

Yes 111

hannahlouise20 · 04/11/2020 02:33

I would make a trip to A&E my love. Good luck Daffodil

IHaveBrilloHair · 04/11/2020 02:36

Definitely call 111.

Bluewavescrashing · 04/11/2020 02:45

Loss of iron - worrying. Call 111 Flowers

SebastianTheCrab · 04/11/2020 02:50

I would call an ambulance. There was a similar thread a few years ago from a woman who was bleeding too heavily on her period and it turned out to be sepsis. Please call ASAP.

KiriAndLou · 04/11/2020 02:59

I'd go for a and e. Sounds like you have a sense of impending doom and that's a waving flag.

EndlessWaffle · 04/11/2020 03:00

Have you taken too many painkillers or mixed the tablets? Please get medical attention and wake your mum if you need to. She'd want you to wake her, I'm sure.

Frannibananni · 04/11/2020 03:21

FFS. Wake your Mum. No point telling people behind a screen who can’t help you.

thosetalesofunexpected · 04/11/2020 03:27
