Is anybody having difficulty getting a slot?

I pay an annual fee. No slots at all. I have tried since Sunday

Yes I got one for the 9th on Sunday after trying on Saturday eve

Yes ours are booked up further in advance than usual. I've got one booked for tomorrow, then nothing until next Sunday. Lockdown, innit

Yeah nothing until 15/11 for us.

They are certainly busier, although I can actually get slots for tomorrow but not Thursday or Friday. I already have reserved slots for this Sunday and next Sunday. After that there is currently availability.

I missed the Christmas slots coming out though as was in hospital :( So need an alternative for then!

All gone for me now.
I had a delivery Saturday and tbh I'm going to swap to Iceland until things settle.
The fresh mostly had short dates and didn't substitute Orange juice, bread, potatoes or UHT milk.
Plus the driver arsed about with my Ddad refusing to go to the back door despite there being no steps and wasn't masked and gloved.
Ok Iceland quality isn't the same but the value compensates.

I missed the Christmas slots too in the hope that we'd be with family for Christmas I have slots booked for the 4th, 15th, 22nd and 1st Dec - nothing available after that. Thank goodness for Riverford - veg box coming Dec 22nd and we can add staples on to that like milk and eggs. We'll get the rest from our local deli and farm shop I guess, plus online suppliers like Farmison.

I know they're trying to add capacity, so it's worth checking every so often to see if slots open up sooner.

You can boost a recurrent midweek slot.
I know that they stopped people signing up for this during lock down.
Then they started it again.
Maybe they have stopped it now...

I've got one for the 13th and there's no availability after that at all. Sigh.

I also started getting put in the website queue again, and the fecking app STILL isn't working for me.

I have deliveries booked for today and next Tuesday but as soon as the new lockdown news came out on Saturday, everything else went and there's no availability showing after next Thursday. I also missed the christmas slots due to being in hospital.

I can't fault their delivery because I hardly ever have substitutions and it's always on time but I'm regretting buying the smartpass now.

Honestly I find it hilarious that the one digital-only supermarket out there is still finding this problem in a second lockdown despite seeing what happened the first time and having had months to sort themselves out. I rarely use Ocado anymore anyway but this is just utterly pathetic.

They aren't releasing them all at once so you do need to check regularly

I signed up in September but it took a month to start - can’t see any availability other than my booked slots. I haven’t seen Christmas slots though, so I’m guessing I’m not special enough - the calendar doesn’t even go to December for me.

Since the April Ocado debacle, I have booked slots as far in advance as possible, at the moment I've got deliveries booked to the end of the month. Looking at the calendar I can see available slots for Thursday, and then nothing until the 15th, then good availability till the end of the month. I've been editing a delivery today and have not been put in a queue, and the app works for me. (Longtime smartpass holder.)

I can never see slots more than 4 weeks ahead (aside from Christmas) so the current calendar only goes up to 1st Dec. They'll start releasing more December dates day by day.

Absolutely this. If Iceland can do next day for FREE Ocado have no excuse.

@tywysoges the Christmas delivery slots are on a separate calendar. You should see a separate box to click to book for Christmas, but I suspect the Christmas slots are long gone, I booked in September.

It’s been harder to get slots but I’ve managed to get the dates I’ve wanted albeit late evening times but I don’t mind that.

I got a Waitrose Christmas delivery slot which I am really pleased about as I’ve not been able to get an ordinary Waitrose slot for weeks. Prefer Waitrose to M&S.

Do quite like a top up shop with Iceland and the service is fab.

They release the slots in batches. While it looked like they were fully booked for a couple of weeks when I checked at the weekend, when I looked earlier today they had released some slots for Thursday (I’m in central London if that makes a difference). I think you just need to check regularly.

Weirdly loads for tomorrow so got one then also booked 15th

I am in London too. They have just released slots for this evening, quite a few available in my area. I think you need to keep checking.

We’re the same. We have a delivery pass but no slots available.

The Christmas Booking option has been removed.
Huge thread here about them, it's not pleasant reading at all.

I much prefer Waitrose to Ocado (though I quite like some of M&S stuff) but it’s been impossible to get a slot since local lockdowns
