I just cried in the bath because I miss working with my friend. We work in the same school but different bubbles so haven’t seen each other in months.
Before that it was because we visited DH’s granddad for the first time since we lost nanny and I was overwhelmed with sadness for him.

I haven't had a good cry for a while really but I did just shed a tear watching despatches tonight. Sad

Yesterday. My mother died earlier this year, and her house sale has just exchanged. It made me feel really sad as it's the house I grew up in.

That is really sad. It's heart breaking saying good bye to a family home. Thanks

Today when I picked up our rabbit's ashes from the vets. I thought I would be ok but the box has his name printed nicely and a little poem.

Thursday, I was due to visit DP in hospital but I was let down but my mum for babysitting and I thought I wouldn't be able to get to see him. I had known, deep down that she would bail on me at the last minute she always did when my birth children were babies but I had hoped the serious of the situation would win through. It didn't. I cried again later when my wonderful daughter stepped into the breach and drove for 90 minutes to help me out.

thebiggestmoose · 02/11/2020 21:40

I've cried quite a bit today, just despair at the situation with covid

AnneLovesGilbert · 02/11/2020 21:43

Two days ago. It was so silly I’m not going to share the reason after all the heartbreaking stories others have shared. Flowers for all of you

YewandOak · 02/11/2020 21:43

I honestly can't remember. I'm not one for crying,I just get angry.

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 02/11/2020 21:45

I cry quite regularly, mostly in frustration about things now, but I cry at the TV and books. I sobbed for ages last week after I finished speaking to my oldest friend, who I won’t see or speak to again.

ShirleyPhallus · 02/11/2020 21:45

Oh gosh, I cried at strictly today. Some of these are really sad. Flowers for all those of you who have lost someone

You're going through very hard times right now, I recall, @bloodywhitecat? Thinking of you Flowers

It's my mums 5 year anniversary of her passing this week so I've had a few cries the past few days. Also cried on the phone to my daughters nursery on Friday as I felt so guilty I didn't dress her up in Halloween fancy dress so I rang them to ask if they had a spare outfit and burst into tears.

Crakeandoryx · 02/11/2020 21:47

Today. It's frequent at the moment.

Itwasgoodwhileitlasted · 02/11/2020 21:49

Today. 3 times. I miss my Dad terribly.

FancySomeChips · 02/11/2020 21:51

-Covid
-Daughters last extra curricular club
-Health worries
-Money worries

Icanflyhigh · 02/11/2020 21:51

Today. Mum has just been diagnosed with lung cancer. The waiting for results is unbearable.

Crunchymum · 02/11/2020 21:52

Today, about half an hour ago.

It's my mum's birthday, sadly she died suddenly just 6 weeks ago.

I've cried at least every single day since her death, some days its just a fleeting cry for a moment but some days (like today) I can hardly stop.

Esterodesavitch · 02/11/2020 21:52

I shed a little tear in the car park at the vets, waiting for my dog to come out. It's a few doors down from the nursing home where my mum died 5 months ago, and I suddenly realised that I was about 200 yards away from where I last saw her alive and where I patted her hand and kissed her after she'd gone. I haven't been near the place since the day she died and suddenly there I was.

Elizaaa · 02/11/2020 21:53

I'm not normally a cryer. I watched land girls last week and cried a few times.

wizzbangfizz · 02/11/2020 21:53

Saturday during the press conference Sad

Pebbledashery · 02/11/2020 21:54

I teared up this morning too reading the thread on mumsnet about a woman's husband suddenly passing at age 42. It's utterly heartbreaking.

Imissmoominmama · 02/11/2020 21:55

On Saturday. My friend’s mum is dying and my friend is caring for her. I cried for them both.

MajesticWhine · 02/11/2020 21:57

I am not much of a crier, but I lost my dog 6 weeks ago and I cried every day for the next two weeks.

tiredvommachine · 02/11/2020 21:58

Today. My life has crumbled around my ears and seriously thinking about not being here any more.

Ah please don’t think like this. Do you have anyone IRL who can support you?
