When did you last cry?

I just cried in the bath because I miss working with my friend. We work in the same school but different bubbles so haven’t seen each other in months.
Before that it was because we visited DH’s granddad for the first time since we lost nanny and I was overwhelmed with sadness for him.

While putting in my youngest's secondary school application last week. Not a full on cry but a teary moment.

Three times today, I'm not well and I'm prone to being weepy when I feel shitty.

Today and everyday since my son was born severely disabled, it's an unbelievable hell on earth watching a child you wanted and love so much struggle so much and knowing it will never get better and he'll never say my name or tell me he loves me back.

Today, yesterday and 18m of yesterday's before that. My amazing dh (40) was diagnosed eighteen months ago of stage 4 terminal bowel cancer at then aged 38. He was given 12m to live, we are 6m after that prognosis. He's been through and going through so much to stay alive for me and our wonderful children.

July 1st 2020 - the day my friend told me she’d got a cancerous ulcer. She doesn’t know how much it upset me though.

I had a couple of happy tears yesterday, I saw a post on facebook about a dog who found his family (alive) under the earthquake rubble in Turkey.

(I cry very easily)

About 10 minutes ago. I have a tooth abcess. Been in pain since saturday. Sarted antibiotics yestarday. The pain is excruciating. I am at the stage where I can count my pulse through my tooth. You know, the stage where you are starting to go demented.

Just read through the thread, sending huge sympathy to all who are coping with fear, loss and grief. @165EatonPlace severe toothache is almost unbearable, I am so sorry. I guess you have the strongest painkillers you can get hold of? Emergency prescription from your GP?

I can't remember exactly when I last cried, have had a few wobbles during the past couple of months with slow drip towards diagnosis of cancer recurrence. Tears come occasionally at times of greatest anxiety, and when I think of the impact on those closest to me.
