Without a doubt "the grudge"!
The one with Sarah Michelle geller, it takes away your safe place ( under the covers). I couldn't open the garage door for weeks after watching it!!

Yes The Grudge! A certain scene still makes me snatch my foot or hand back under the covers if I think of it in bed in the dark 😬 xxx

70's The Omen.
The music, the era- it's chilling to me.

I mean, if you’re asking for the worst horror film I’ve ever seen I’d probably go for something like Black Sheep or Paranormal activity- absolutely dire.

If you mean the best horror film anything by Rob Zombie is good. House of 1000 corpses is amazing.

The haunting in Connecticut- 'based on true events' I slept with the light on for a month 😂

The Shining always gets me. There is something very unsettling about it and I have recurring nightmare about haunted places with lots of rooms. Halloween as well - it's often the sound/music on films that frightens me most.

Berserker, in a so naff it's compulsive type way. The dead zone (70's version with Christopher Walken) in a not gory but really weird and unsettling way.

Cloverfield. Absolute shite and made me motion sick. I fell asleep in the cinema to escape it!

Rec. A Spanish zombie film. I jumped so much I actually knocked my glasses off my face.

Worst as in most crap? The Cabin in the Woods- AWFUL.

@Dustysilkflowers house of 1000 corpses is good, devils rejects is the follow up film to it.

The haunting in Connecticut and the Grudge. The former is the only film that made me keep the light on all night after watching it.

The Omen is definitely my favorite film of all time!

Amazing actors, fantastic music, good storyline...what's not to love?!

Cabin in the Woods is epic! It's basically a spoof of formulaic horror movies with a massive tongue in cheek side story.

I loved Black Sheep! Weta Workshop (Lord Of the Rings etc) did the special effects.

Also found the Ring quite unnerving.

Event Horizon, In the Mouth of Madness, Long Time Dead, Darkness Falls.

Poltergeist is on tonight and I found that terrifying. I'm going to go for the gentler Ghost.
