Does he still love his kids?

I remember laughing so much at the Pete threads on here post childbirth that I thought I would damage my stitches. They probably wouldn't be allowed now because they were a bit mean about him. But it's been a long day for us in isolation while my husband has Covid and I'm desperate to laugh about something a bit silly. I'm desperate to laugh about anything, really.

Sorry if you're reading this Peter, I'm sure you're a lovely man.

Harvey is in residential care, I believe. With adulthood, his needs have become just too challenging to manage at home I think, especially now she is incapacitated (although he went some time ago). I don't have much time for Katie, except for her clear devotion to him.

Katie Price doesn’t have custody of any of her kids. Junior and Princess live with Peter and Emily, and Bunny and Jet live with Kieron. She’s a bloody disgrace.

It's all very sad.

No idea why the hatred was always directed at Peter Andre instead of that vile human being who is Katie price who isn’t capable of loving anything hence why she’s lost custody of her kids.

At least he actually does love them, as opposed to her who only ever saw them as commodities.

Nice that you've started a thread mocking a man who offers stability and security to his children. That's how all the previous 'living his kids' threads went too. Passive aggressive digs at a bloke whose actually a decent father and sympathy for their flaky, incapable mother.

Maybe a bit of support for active decent parenting on a parenting site would be nice.

And before you bring out the 'lighthearted' excuse, please tell me how mocking decent primary-residency fathers in a culture where they are not the norm is remotely lighthearted?

I just checked and you can eat 8 bananas before reaching the RDA of potassium. I imagine that you would have to ear far more than that to ‘overdose’ on potassium. Perhaps he just didn’t like the look of Preston. More fool him!

@Veterinari you are totally missing the spirit of this thread. In case you missed the originals years ago, the jist is this:

A) no one doubts for a moment that Peter is a fantastic dad - his kids seem happy, grounded and settled.

B) Peter did used to have a habit compulsion to update the nation on how much he loves his kids. This was funny. In an aaah way. He has a sense of humour and could see that himself.

C) numerous brands such as iceland, new magazine and this morning did indeed celebrate his status as an in-residence single father by making him a central part of their branding strategy and giving him lots of air time.

People like Peter Andre. We all like Peter Andre too. We wish the man no harm. However, I do think it's possible to think it's funny that he makes such a point of telling us how much he loves his kids. Is that ok? Is there any humour anywhere that is allowed anymore?

Dwight was a sperm donor. Peter said he would always see Harvey but it fizzled out. I don’t know how much is true, he’s harmless and a good role model - no drugs, string of marriages etc .

They generally descended into PA slagging of him as a dad and sympathy for Katie as a poor misunderstood mum.

I'm sure this will head in the same direction as there's already been bitchiness against Emily and her job, and against their decision not to expose their children to the public. It isn't lighthearted humour. It's the critiquing of a responsible father and stepmother who are providing stability to children with a selfish feckless mother.

If doing that is funny for you then crack on. But don't try and 'correct' those of us who think your energy might be better spent supporting a successful blended family and active father, than trawling you tube for ammunition to criticise them.

Yep Harvey isn't his and PA has no legal responsibility to him (and may not even have legal access to him anyway) But we can add that to his shit list too whilst skating over the responsibilities of Harvey's actual mother and father...

Peter had a lucky escape getting way from that awful KP. Keeps having babies with different men, but doesn't seem so keen on raising them. It's the poor kids I feel sorry for. I think Pete is a great Dad to all his children.

We used to go a bit far in the piss-taking, looking back, but I do remember fondly someone suggesting a coach trip and another thread with various shades of orange/terracotta/Ronseal.

That said, Emily was on here at one point and was upset iirc. On top of which, it all feels a bit less funny now Katie's so far off the rails.
I was never one of the Po, but there are funnier targets out there these days, although whenever I watch Fantastic Mr Fox and hear ''You wrote a bad song, Petey!'' I do think of Insania.

On the other foot, has had some PR in the tabloids this week - about a racist waking up in a black man's body. I will not judge until I see it - it could be that Junior can act, in which case fair play to him. Fair play to anyone making independent movies at the moment tbh.

On an unrelated note something popped up the other day saying Katie Price's veneers had dropped out and there was a photo of her with tiny (filed down?) teeth. Is that how veneers work?

Oh God Katie Price is awful, goes from one bloke to the next, never single for more than a second. She's been with her new one 2 mins and already getting married and tattoos of each others name. People normally grow out of that as teenagers, but she's in her 40s. Very very odd, unless she's only doing it to keep her name in the gossip rags.
