Thanks I didn’t realise it was tonight Smile

Justmuddlingalong · 24/10/2020 20:13

Yip. Just had the yearly "discussion" with DP about it being darker earlier at night and lighter in the morning.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 24/10/2020 20:15

Who wants an extra hour of naughty 2020.

acerred · 24/10/2020 20:18

It's such a non event now, I remember going round the house changing all the clocks years ago, now it just happens.

SkepticalCat · 24/10/2020 20:21

I had forgotten, thank you - thought it was next weekend.

Pinkstars2501 · 24/10/2020 20:26

Awesome.....more 2020

Gettingthrough2020 · 24/10/2020 20:28

The clocks went forward earlier in the year, so it balances out.

Ops just trying to cheer us up on dismal Saturday evening, PinkStars.Grin

A non event except when you have tiny humans who don’t understand 😫

Not if you work nights and always manage to do this one but miss the spring one it doesn't 🤣
rslsys · 24/10/2020 20:37

Stonehenge has been sorted.

The clocks go back tonight
PinkBuffalo · 24/10/2020 21:11

Cheers OP
I remind people all day then forget when I go to bed to change my clock Grin
Thank you for the reminder Smile

TigerDroveAgain · 24/10/2020 21:15

Reminds me of a conversation with someone years ago. Apparently intelligent professional woman in her late 20s. Had no idea that the clocks change either way and was befuddled by the idea. I can only assume she was terminally late /early all the time, or thought everyone else wasHmm

dudsville · 24/10/2020 21:16

@rslsys

Stonehenge has been sorted.
That's cute! I love the clock changes, both of them.
Pinkstars2501 · 24/10/2020 21:21

Oh yeah so they did. I take it back 🤣

JoanApple · 24/10/2020 21:25

Wonderful pre children.
Pain in the backside post children!

ForeverBubblegum · 24/10/2020 21:35

I love the clocks going back, it makes me feel nostalgic about going for a big night outas an (underage) teenager, because you got an extra hour before the nightclub closed at 2am.

Somewhat ruined by the fact that they can stay open as long as they like now anyway; I haven't been to a nightclub in over a decade; and the last time I did go out, I was tired by 10.30

acerred · 24/10/2020 21:41

Really? It's just an hour, it's not like you've flown to the other side of the world and are dealing with a massive time zone change when it really is a PITA.

EatPrayYoga · 24/10/2020 21:49

I didn't know either

PicsInRed · 24/10/2020 22:00

Car clock back to being nonsense then. 6 months of utter madness.

nosswith · 24/10/2020 22:16

I don't forget. Hence the thread I started with my opinion on the matter.

What?

Happy days. Now I spend my extra hour googling what time it really is as I can never remember which device automatically updates and which one doesn’t.

Nomnomarrgh · 24/10/2020 22:55

Its all right so long as you’re not night shifting. To do the same hour twice is a wee bit soul-destroying.

binkyblinky · 24/10/2020 22:55

Yay so excited as it means my toddler will be waking even earlier than the usual 05:30!
