and tell me something random and out-of-place that's in there?

I'm in my bedroom but there's a box of Sensodyne toothpaste, as yet unopened, sitting looking at me. It's on its way to the bathroom - has been for a couple of weeks... It'll make it there at some point I'm sure!

Ted (our Eufy robot hoover). He needs taking upstairs but I'm hungover and CBA!

A pair of ski salopettes belonging to DH hanging on the bedroom door. He last went skiing about 5 years ago. In all probability he will never go again. Every time I suggest recycling or the charity shop I get told they might come in useful. One day they will disappear...

@sar302

There's currently an electric wood saw in our living room. My husband cut his finger getting it out of the box, so I have little faith in the next stage 😂

I should pre book his appointment at A&E now if he’s cut his finger just getting it out of the box! 😂 🩹

Our dining table has a caravan wheel on it. I thought I would win with that, but I see someone upthread has a car wheel.

I’m in the bath. The best I can do is a glass of wine that doesn’t ‘live’ here but is very very welcome Grin ! (DH has packed me off for a relaxing soak after a v bad night with DD, my main job now is to not fall asleep in here...)

A large plastic kitchen bowl on the sofa (because our young girl keeps being sick into it)!

I'm in the lounge.

We have a pink glittery lampshade, still wrapped, sitting on the book shelf. It has no lamp. Just the shade.

On its way to my granddaughters bedroom .... in her house.... 10 minutes away and has been for several weeks.

I'm in the living room and there is a big bag of clean clothes waiting to be taken upstairs.

I don't know why I put them in the living room first, I'm like some sort of tour bus for clothes - Saturday itinerary, free time in the living room, please be ready on the small sofa for pick up to your final destination.

A sparkly christmas cup sat on top of an old birthday card. It's on the windowsill after I caught a wasp the other day, and for some reason the cup and card have stayed there. Quite useful I suppose if more wasps appear.

Not quite sure there’s any room where that wouldn’t appear out of place!

I'm in the study and there is a Winnie the Pooh teething ring on the desk.

Our DC are 19 and 15.

whathaveifound, I've now read your post.

"I'm in our home office. There's a baby toy on the desk next to me. My DC and 18 & 15!"

Bizarrely similar to mine huh?

The nail scissors are in the lounge - that’s DH’s fault.

A teatowel on the sofa next to me. I had a bowl of rice putting earlier and it was too hot to hold so I rested it on the teatowel.

I've now found out how to do this. Much better way of showing the similarity to my 'teething ring in study' post

In the living room -
2 new shower curtains and the bathroom step
If it had been this time last week it would have been an upturned new bath, a toilet and a sink in boxes.
We have been doing bathroom overhaul. Our new bath was sent damaged so we had one in our living room and one in our garden. We now have a working bathroom and our living room back.

This room has too many things that shouldn't be here to single anything out. My plan for half-term is sorting the house out as everywhere is such a mess..... Joys!
Might take the soap upstairs with me as I go (inspired by this thread).

A set of stepladders behind the door in the living room. Had the bathroom painted and that’s where they ended up last week. I’ll take them back to the shed at some point, honest!
