and tell me something random and out-of-place that's in there?

I'm in my bedroom but there's a box of Sensodyne toothpaste, as yet unopened, sitting looking at me. It's on its way to the bathroom - has been for a couple of weeks... It'll make it there at some point I'm sure!

Box Plasters on the bedside table.

SpringIsSprung1 · 24/10/2020 11:29

Cat treats on my bed. Dog will eat them if I leave them on the floorGrin

waitforitwaitforit · 24/10/2020 11:29

@Foxyloxy1plus1

It’s a rare day when there isn’t a diy tool or piece of equipment on the work top. I moan about it every day.

God, me too. I swear the bloody tape measure is going to push us to the brink of divorce. What the feck is he measuring?!

canihaveacoffeeplease · 24/10/2020 11:32

My peg basket is on the table in front of
Me, the kids brought flowers in from the garden in it 😊. I can also see dh's brand new dr martens bag with the box of his brand new boots with the old boots inside on the kitchen worktop. He just bought the new boots today and hasn't put it all away when we got home. Also a toilet roll on the floor, no idea how that got there.

SpringIsSprung1 · 24/10/2020 11:32

Ddog of course that should be!

BaronessEllaSaturday · 24/10/2020 11:34

Nothing however I'm in the family room so anything goes in here. Yes the lego does belong on the table, so does all the colouring stuff. Nothing wrong with that pile of clean laundry in the corner and the dogs blankets are supposed to be dragged randomly all over the floor

WhySoSensitive · 24/10/2020 11:35

Bottle of calpol on the fireplace, has been there maybe a month? I don’t know why but I just won’t move it 😂

TheMarzipanDildo · 24/10/2020 11:35

A birthday balloon, still defying gravity. Birthday was getting on for 2 months ago!

ApolloandDaphne · 24/10/2020 11:38

Nothing really. There is a DVD I am planning to watch on the TV unit and tube of hand cream on the side table which is always there as I like to apply it when watching TV. Nothing else out of place. Me and DH are very tidy.

Echobelly · 24/10/2020 11:40

A tin of sardines wrapped in brown paper that's been on the mantelpiece for over a year Confused

Disfordarkchocolate · 24/10/2020 11:41

I have just disposed of two balloons and a banner that had been there for a month. The fan is looking pretty redundant as it's 9 degrees outside. My sons fluffy duvet seems to have moved in here for half term.

Matildatoldsuchdreadfullies · 24/10/2020 11:42

Laminators (yes, that is a plural), and guillotine (paper cutter, not French Revolution).

HazeyJaneII · 24/10/2020 11:44

I'm in the kitchen
4 giant Halloween house decoration Spiderwebs, randomly delivered to our house with some woodcarving tools I'd ordered (no trace of them on the order, no idea why they were in box, no idea who they belong to)

Etinox · 24/10/2020 11:45

I thought this would easy because my style is messy eclectic but actually lyingsat here in the kitchen everything lives here. Unless books and a sofa don’t?

jay55 · 24/10/2020 11:46

The pile of towels and bed linen, had to move them from the cupboard they are kept in for a boiler check and haven't put them back yet...

acerred · 24/10/2020 11:46

A pair of socks in a christmas tea light holder.

ChickensMightFly · 24/10/2020 11:47

A pair of trousers hanging from a shelf above the dining table drying. Books all over the arms of the sofa. I live in a tiny hut (self-building site accommodation) and there are always many things where they shouldn't be if we had a house and sometimes it drives me mad and sometimes I accept it's all in a good cause.

DarklisAndIsa · 24/10/2020 11:47

In the living room. For once theres nothing out of the ordinary on here except for the bathmat on the radiator which has been there since I washed it on Thursday.

LindaEllen · 24/10/2020 11:48

You know what, I can tidy up as much as I like, but if DSS has been in the room you can guarantee there will be all manner of shite that shouldn't be here. Coat just dumped on the sofa (literally has to walk past the hangers to get to the sofa), empty water bottle and wrappers, games console on the floor in the middle of the room (whyyyy) and much more.

It's almost killing me not picking everything up and dumping it all on his bed, but at the age of 17 he should be doing it himself, so it'll be left there until he feels like getting out of bed, then I'll ask him to tidy it up. Just like every. other. day.

@whojamaflip

“A live chicken on the aga”

Ladies and Gentleman, we have a winner!!!🏆

Although when I was much younger, I came in to the kitchen one very cold day, to find a large sheep “drying out” in front of the fire.... my Dad had rescued it from the flooded river, and brought it home in a wheelbarrow!!!
The Farmer who owned it moaned about collecting it, as he said it was worth more to him dead (insurance) than alive...
The sheep was totally nonchalant about its adventure.
The kitchen absolutely reeked for days after, and our sheepdog cross-breed never quite got over the whole thing!😁

Sarahlou63 · 24/10/2020 11:49

My partner. He should be out poo picking, not doomscrolling.

JonHammIsMyJamm · 24/10/2020 11:50

The dog’s collar on the sofa side table.

dudsville · 24/10/2020 11:50

Nothing. A, we're pretty good at putting things away and 2, I'm in the one room where traditional objects are allowed to be. But that does include sofa cushions waiting for new covers, fridge storage bins waiting fur us to decide if we want h to use them, a cardigan with a loose button, my work, a bag of things to go to the post office, etc.

PebblesAndBamBam · 24/10/2020 11:51

Empty loo roll tube in living room. Next to DD's potty, but still... Blush

majesticallyawkward · 24/10/2020 11:51

In the playroom/dining room there's a box of shit things to be donated or sold including a disaronno giftset and curl pods. Oh and my makeshift home office and sewing machine (as yet unused because it's 1940s one and I'm scared of it 😂)
