Is life 360 app accurate !?

Me, OH and DD(12) have the life 360 app, mainly just lets us know DD got to school and when she left .

I have justified reasons to be suspicious of OH. Around lunch time for the last few days when he is at work for around an hour give or take a couple of minutes the life 360 app has placed him at a residential address approx 3 miles from his work place.

On asking him a few questions about work generally , he hasn't said anything about leaving at any point , he ate lunch at work etc. I haven't said anything about seeing this , he has said a few things about the Wi-fi signal being crap at work.

Has anyone experienced this app randomly placing someone at a location a few miles away ?

Thanks !

I think it's pretty useless as a locator to be honest. It tells me the DTs have arrived home but they're still 200m away, they have left school (they haven't) and if I track either their path to/from school or my running route, they are not mapped anywhere close to accurate. They might start and end at the right place but that's it.

Forget the 360 thing. You've already found proof of cheating from the texts.

Sorry OP, that information changes everything. Explains why you’re so desperate to know. The app is a red herring. The trust is gone. I’m sorry.

Can you life with someone who is cheating on you? That’s the only relevant part. If not, you’ll save yourself a lot of heartache leaving him sooner rather than later. If you deep down would rather stay with someone you can never ever trust, crack on worrying about app accuracy.

I’m sorry.

Sorry to hear about the texts OP. I'd assume he was cheating unfortunately. Could you take a drive by the address it shows him going to during the day? It could be a business in a residential area. Whilst I remember, what phones are you both using. If you have an iphone you can use the "find my" app to locate it, and is usually more accurate than third party apps.
