Oh dear, have you been feeling poorly or is it anxiety?

I'm 6 days overdue and woken up with bad cramping and wondering whether to be excited or if it's going to fizzle away.

Juliusthecat · 23/10/2020 03:48

Lucky you seaduck. I have insomnia lately. So frustrating.

Smythering · 23/10/2020 03:48

Boyfriends fell out with me (again)

Bored of feeling like this

Willowkins · 23/10/2020 03:48

I've just been watching the Trump-Biden debate.

Westiegirl3 · 23/10/2020 03:53

Anxiety through the night is awful, do you have anything to watch or listen to that can help?
I'm up because my mind is full of dread for the future, I found out this week that I'm being made redundant and crippling anxiety will prevent me from getting another job. I feel so so low

mummabubs · 23/10/2020 03:53

Currently 11 weeks pregnant with DC2 so unable to sleep and feeling nauseous. Pretty sure I haven't slept yet tonight and DC1 is currently screaming that it's time to get up. I'm so tired I've gone beyond the ability to cry, but if I could, I would!

Rosegardensandgin · 23/10/2020 03:59

+VE covid test in the household. Family meme is completely well apart from loss of smell but overthinking. What/who next etc.

coronafiona · 23/10/2020 04:03

My beautiful boy is sleeping next to me. There is no room for me, and he is so lovely I have to keeping looking at him.

Newjobnewstart · 23/10/2020 04:03

Travelledtheworld · 23/10/2020 04:08

Husband snoring and spinning round in bed taking the duvet from me. And it's pouring with rain.
Been awake 45 mins now.

Travelledtheworld · 23/10/2020 04:09

Hi @newjobstart !

Duggeehugs82 · 23/10/2020 04:12

Im awake cause daughter has autism and regularly wakes for hours in night , so not only does autism rob me of having a conversation with my daughter and i have to do everything for her it also robs me of sleep , im having a very difficult couple of days

Duggeehugs82 · 23/10/2020 04:13

Im sorry for all the others who r struggling 💗

Els1e · 23/10/2020 04:14

Can’t sleep. Mum and dp had disagreement and are being off with each other. I’m blowing this out of proportion and worrying about Christmas Day. I’m looking at articles about not being a people pleaser, so that I can chill, not worry, decide they’re adults and sort it out themselves.

Talkchat83 · 23/10/2020 04:22

Got woken up by my 2 year old getting out of bed, she's back asleep, I'm now lying here thinking about my anxiety at feeling I've schosen the wrong primary school for DD1.

Keepingcomfy · 23/10/2020 04:27

My cat has a severe bladder infection and so have been to the vet with him. He's on antibiotics but they're not sure it'll work.

Also, I'm 32 weeks pregnant and midwife phoned earlier re possibility of gestational diabetes. Got an appointment to see her at 8am. I knew when I was setting my alarm for 7 that I'd be awake at 4 😴

Mimilamore · 23/10/2020 04:32

Another one awake here, listened to the Trump/Biden debate as woke up and BBC sounds was on.... now more awake than I am during the day. Have heart burn, considering getting up and making an apple cider vinegar and honey tea, nicer than it sounds and brilliant for heartburn...

newlabelwriter · 23/10/2020 04:39

Heartburn post 2 glasses of wine last night. Being old sucks

KiposWonderbeasts · 23/10/2020 04:40

Woke for a wee, and know it always takes about an hour to fall back to sleep.

Hermie12 · 23/10/2020 04:42

With you Kipos. Plus got made redundant last week so have the fun brain in overdrive churning everything over and over.

DrDetriment · 23/10/2020 04:46

Insomnia due to severe stress. I'm now not tired but will be when I have to get up in 2 hours.

Pipandmum · 23/10/2020 04:48

Woke up to visit loo and noticed my daughter's light on. Half term starts next week and she has masses of homework due today - some of it her fault as she could have done it earlier, though every night she has been doing homework or early morning. Y11 and very stressful year. So seeing her light on at 3.30am got me stressed about the pressure she is under, also applying to new sixth forms and her interviews and portfolio presentation in ten days which she hasn't been able to do much about. Then another thought comes up and I'm tossing and turning so figure I might as well go on mumsnet...

justgeton · 23/10/2020 04:49

Hello everyone

Usual poor sleep made worse because my brother died recently. Feeling very lost. We were super close.

vizlsapup · 23/10/2020 04:56

@justgeton Flowers I'm so sorry

Woke up early to finish an impending deadline. I always think I will work late but have discovered early is way more effective.
