I break into your house and steal something from the top of your fridge - what do I take away with me?

If you broken into mine, you'd get a red plastic box filled with napkins, a jug and a pot with pens in!

Ahaha I didn’t mean to sound as if I was planning a raid... Grin

Romemarie · 23/10/2020 13:27

A pack of mini marshmallows and a unopened box of cereal and I think there’s a pack of wet wipes on there too lol

Ninkanink · 23/10/2020 13:32

@Feawen you should totally plan a posh picnic in the back garden so you can use the basket!

LadyLindaT · 23/10/2020 13:33

Thank you for this, OP. I had nothing on top of my fridge/freezer, but you have given me the inspiration as to where to store the huge paellera I accidentally bought.

BumpLoading · 23/10/2020 13:36

An ant farm!
Definitely not a normal place to put it, not sure how its ended up there Blush

crackofdoom · 23/10/2020 13:56

A radio-CD player, the fruit bowl, a bowl of onions and garlic, often a bowl of tomatoes. It's not a fridge-freezer, in case you were imagining me climbing on a stool several times a day! Such a useful surface, I don't know what we'd do if we did have a ff, although I would like one.

Snap! Grin. (with the addition of a pile of stray clothes pegs). Except that I DO have a fridge freezer, so I DO have to climb on a chair to access my fruit and veg! (In my defence, I used to have a much lower fridge with the fruit and veg crate on top of it, and just couldn't think of another good location for it when I got a full height fridge freezer).

2 packs of kitchen roll (and no I'm not stockpiling. SIL gets a job lot from Costco and hands them out to all the family!!)

Howyoualldoworkme · 23/10/2020 14:38

The cat Grin

Yesyoudoknowme · 23/10/2020 14:39

A basket full of cables - for things which we must have but goodness knows where - and also a mug with pens in. Spinny forks (the battery ones for spaghetti) and my sons motorbike keys. Please come and take the lot (except the keys) as I can't reach up there to clean (a big American thing) so would save me the bother...

legalseagull · 23/10/2020 14:42

A 30 can box of Diet Coke

Shinyletsbebadguys · 23/10/2020 14:43

Oooh actually it would be a decent haul here it's the two tubs of Christmas chocolates ( you know the big tubs for £5 ) in waiting for next month.

Occasionally DC and ddog gaze wistfully up (ddog can't distinguish from dog chocolate and human chocolate so shes watched like a hawk!!)

VinylDetective · 23/10/2020 14:43

Dust.

QueenofLouisiana · 23/10/2020 14:59

Bags for life, stuffed inside other bags for life. An old radio DH refuses to throw out- please come and steal it!

unlimiteddilutingjuice · 24/10/2020 05:41

seven pumpkins and your welcometo them.
Noone even likes pumpkins. They taste of nothing and I can't remember why we grew them.
Butternut squash next year I think

acerred · 24/10/2020 05:42

A picnic hamper which has been there for years as it's too old to use but belonged to my grandparents, it's currently a spider habitat. You're welcome.

mathanxiety · 24/10/2020 07:59

Two bottles of red and the sadly depleted wine rack.

A metal basket of wet cat food. Dcat knows her food is up there and claws my leg every time I go to the fridge. If you touch it she will claw your legs too. I need to find somewhere else to put it and then wait for her to get used to the new arrangement, thus saving the right legs of all my jeans, leggings, and assorted trews..

A canister of porridge oats.
Box of oaty breakfast cereal, half full. Or half empty, depending on your pov.

Dust.

YouCantBeSadHoldingACupcake · 24/10/2020 08:21

The Pom bears I have to keep up there so the older dc don't eat them all

OHappyDay · 24/10/2020 08:27

Cereal boxes (at the moment bran flakes, corn flakes and rice crispies) and there is a hand blender hidden still in its box at the back... I really need to organise it.....

nosswith · 24/10/2020 09:14

Tea bags and the fruit bowl.

PolarBearStrength · 24/10/2020 09:34

Cereal, DS’s dairy alternative milk, a couple of pre-workout gels, a plastic mixing bowl, and half a packet of crisps.

AndyMurraysCat · 24/10/2020 09:40

Lemonpizza · 24/10/2020 11:13

SimpleLife003 · 24/10/2020 21:04
