I need to replace my bedding and keen to get some super comfy duvet covers. I've looked on Amazon and am not wowed by anything so far... any suggestions?

In Dunkeln they have a range called'Hotel' or something similar. They're lovely and plain with a good thread count. I always look at the thread count now.

Nikhedonia · 18/10/2020 15:23

Oh yes, Sainsbury's do.

I'll check out Dundalk, too. Thank you l.

La Redoute has a lot of 100% cotton selection. Google some voucher codes - brings the price down.

Potionqueen · 18/10/2020 17:41

Seasalt has lovely duvet covers.

pointythings · 18/10/2020 18:29

I'm seconding Dunelm. I have two sets of their 300 thread count 100% cotton stuff, in really gorgeous prints, plus matching pillowcases and fitted sheets. Absolutely worth the money, coming up for a year old and look like new despite frequent washing at 60C.

Dorma. You wont want to sleep in anything else once you've tried it though.

Online or go into Dunhelm if you want to have a feel :)

Chicksy · 18/10/2020 18:40

Bedeckhome.com. They have lots of brands on there. I got sheets and pillowcases from them recently and they are just perfect.

Fluffycloudland77 · 18/10/2020 18:42

Avoid the white company. When our bottom sheets went threadbare after 2 years the shop in Solihull said anything over 6 months is fair wear and tear. So now we shop at John Lewis.

NaughtipussMaximus · 18/10/2020 18:44

I was just coming to say Bedeck. I got a lovely set of William Morris bedding from there, half price. Otherwise I usually buy from John Lewis - their 100% cotton “Crisp and Fresh” percale range seems to last very well. They have a sateen range too, if you prefer softer, more slippery bedding (I like the starched feel).

Someone mentioned Emma Shipley on another thread. If you like wild designs, have a look.

nimbuscloud · 18/10/2020 18:47

Amurelle !!!
Received a present last Christmas of a set of linen sheets/duvet cover
It’s just gorgeous

Frouby · 18/10/2020 18:50

Spendy but I always love Sheridan bedding, google for stuff in the sale. H of F does it (or used to anyway) and Debenhams maybe.

TaffyandTeenyTaffy · 18/10/2020 18:50

Another Bedeck fan here. Lovely quality and often get good deals in the sales.

CruCru · 18/10/2020 18:52

How much do you want to spend? I like John Lewis but my husband says it is expensive.

DCIHoops · 18/10/2020 18:52

Have you looked at bed linen made from Bamboo? It’s wonderful, very happy with mine. It’s eco friendly and helps you self regulate your temperature. The 300 thread count in bamboo feels like a much higher thread count in cotton.

JaJaDingDong · 18/10/2020 18:55

Ikea

thelake · 18/10/2020 18:59

Piglet in bed linen sheets

DivisionBelles · 18/10/2020 19:00

Soak and Sleep do high thread count cotton linen. There's usually a discount voucher floating around on t'internet too.

weegiemum · 18/10/2020 19:06

I got 2 lovely sets for our bed recently from P&B which I'm loving. Price was decent too. Bottom sheet though, John Lewis high thread count cotton, was presents from MIL.

magicstar1 · 18/10/2020 19:15

I love my Ikea bedding. It stays very crisp and new after loads of washing. For this time of year I switch to brushed cotton....I got some gorgeous covers in Asda last year and have them back on. Very cheap, but so soft and warm.
