There was a similar one on a Silent Witness episode, and a similar one on Grand Designs. The house is called Steppingstones and if you Google it nothing comes up for filming locations, so it could just be that it's very similar to others.

I recognise the galleried landing. There was a drama series where the owners had a evening drinks party and a woman turned up who shouldn't have? Was she pushed down the stairs?
Then another scene where a woman was being threatened by another woman. She had a tiny baby with her.
I'm thinking Dr Foster like you mentioned OP, but it's all very vague in my mind.

I know which one you mean that it's from. The bloke shacked up with his wife's best friend, he and the ex wife had a son and the new woman had a daughter, the new woman was a black woman. The son sneaked into the daughters bedroom to hook up. It's really pissing me off!!

I immediately thought Inside No. 9. Also, why has it got about six kitchens and what looks like a science lab in it? Reminds me of a new build school! Gary Barlow is from Frodsham I believe, is it his house?!

Gary Barlow doesn't live in Frodsham and when he did have a huge house in Cheshire it was a period place. He now lives in London I think.
