What’s going on in your house ?

I am drinking coffee whilst MNing. (Wine is chilling in the fridge)
DP is reading a book
DTs are watching DanTDM, I’m not sure what’s going on but his voice is sending me to sleep.
The cat is glaring out of her window at her arch nemesis “fluffy cat” . Fluffy cat is returning the glare from her spot on the patio.
All is peaceful and well.
What’s going on in your house ?

I'm drinking wine and on mn. Dc 1 and dh are on the computer, dc 2 playing with toys and watching TV. 1 cat and 2 kittens are sleeping in multiple beds around the house. Lovely, warm and cosy here!

I’m lounging on the sofa enjoying the sound of the rain.
DP is dropping DSD back at her mums with toddler DS in tow.
Five mins until they get back and I’m not moving til then.

I feel lovely and cozy too.
We went out in the rain earlier, one DT played football ball and me and the other DT did a park run.
It took me ages to warm up but I finally feel better.
We are going to get a take away, there’s a new Arabic grill that’s opened up around the corner and I’m looking forward to trying that.

DH is painting.
Dog and cats are all sprawled by the fire snoring.

It feels very cosy and wintery in here

Cooking a roast chicken dinner whilst kids watch Home Alone.
Played board games this afternoon and done homework. All warm and cosy.

I'm drinking wine, having just finished eating a full roast dinner. I was celebrating DS2 actually being home for a meal (he's usually doing his sport or his part time job). DH is loading the dishwasher, DD has just come home from Nando's. DS is now spraying his new shoes with waterproof spray. At the moment I'm watching some crap history program, but I'm hoping someone will come and join me to watch a film in a bit.

I'm about to go out to work.
DH is putting the rubbish out.
DC are upstairs making a banging noise. They are supposed to be brushing their teeth.
DCats are probably in the hall making a sad face because DH has closed the door while he is in the garden.

Just finished eating (sausage and chorizo stew thing) and now wasting time of my phone, listening to the rain while DH puts the youngest two to bed.
When he's finished, we will watch Ratched on Netflix and I've got some Ritter Sport cornflake chocolate to look forward to.

Dcs are currently in their respective bedrooms on their computers.

We have two friends coming over for a socially distanced drink in a minute, I've just finished hoovering and have opened all the bifolds downstairs. Wondering whether it will stay dry enough to sit by the firepit.

Got to drop one ds at at their house. They are bringing one of their dcs here (they have a lot of teenagers) so that both groups stay under 6 for the evening.

DH is banging around with icecubes in the kitchen.

Just chilling after my lockdown exercise, scrolling Mumsnet with the Leeds v Man City match just finished on tv. About to jump in shower and then I'll be making a Bloody Mary, and sticking my ready meal in the microwave.

Ds just gone out for a walk, dd upstairs doing whatever it is she does.

Dh having one of his dialysis sessions tonight at the centre, probably watching Netflix and working to fill the time.

DH is just putting toddler DS to bed, I've got the log burner going, gin in the fridge, dishwasher loaded and kitchen tided. Aaaaaannnnnd relax .

Dc3 is having half an hour of cartoons before bed.
I’ve just put my dressing gown on and am on MN whilst sitting next to dc3 pretending to pay full attention to ds3’s cartoons (at his insistence).
Dh is in the bath.
Dc1 and dc2 are in their room shouting about ‘hackers’ on the Xbox 🙄

The babies (5.5 months and 11 months, we foster) are asleep, the dog is asleep, DP and I are drinking gin. I can't quite believe that in 6 months DP may no longer be here as he has pancreatic cancer and the odds aren't in our favour. How does that happen? He looks and feels well but he's dying.

DS2 in his undies watching movies as i said no screens today which he takes to mean iPad/laptop
DD2 trying to cut her hair so she can look like queen barb and won’t be told that even a hairdresser can’t give her a red Mohawk (sigh)
I’m sitting outside as the heat and humidity have finally rescued

Just eaten roast pork and ginger pudding and custard. Have drunk a glass of white and considering a second. Husband has peaked too soon and is snoring on the sofa. I am watching PBS America, how the Golden Gate was built, going to an animal park tomorrow with two of the grandchildren so bracing myself for wet and windy weather

I'm in bed watching. Weather is shocking here, dp had the car with him all day so I've had a very lazy day.
DP is in the bath after football
Ds12 is on his xbox
Ds6 is in the living room running riot in the living room. He has his mattress on the floor and is doing wrestling moves 🙄.
Ddog is lying in his usual spot next to me.
We are waiting for an Indian which is taking forever.
I've got a pile of dishes to do that I just can't be arsed doing at all.

Stuffed with fish and chips and mushy peas and worried. Will I have room for the bar of Dairy Milk I've bought (and the Terry's Chocolate Orange bar) and how will I protect my cream coloured knitting project whilst eating it all?

It's a bit cold here, heating might have to go on for the first time this season. Also got dark early.

I'm drinking wine and mnetting in my comfy chair in the kitchen. Dh is watching crappy tv. Dd2 is practising make up "looks" (just started her beautician training and very keen right now!). Ds is out with his girlfriend (we can finally call her that after weeks of "we're just chatting"!!).

I'm planning on an early night. Somewhen round about now would be good!!

I'm just faffing about wasting time till I can go collect DD in half an hour , so just bought some new trainers as mine are ruined , whilst being glared at by DDog because she's on a diet and can't see why she can't have the rest of the lasagne . DH is on sofa watching Stargate and having his Saturday night drink , DS is on an Xbox tournament . Going to eat one more gingerbread muffin and hit the road

He was jaundiced at the start of lock down and after being messed about by the GP despite his bilirubin levels being through the roof a tumour was eventually discovered when he went for a scan. This week, after several botched biopsies, we were told he has pancreatic cancer. They are not sure if the cancer started in the pancreas or the bile duct but wherever it started the results are shit.

I'm trying to persuade DS2 (2.5) to read a book then feed so he will go to sleep. DH is getting DS1 (6) ready for bed. Hoping they both fall asleep quickly so we can have wine and watch The Fall on Netflix.
