What name(s) do you irrationally hate?

I'll start.

Denise.

I don't know any Denises... I'm sure they're lovely. But the name just rubs me up the wrong way.

NOTE: No Karen bashing please! Because it's been hijacked as a name and it's not fair on Karens.

I win. None of our names are listed above (family of 5).
DH name is of his generation, like Robert or Phil
My name is a French name, unpopular in the UK although most people have heard of it.
The DC have normal names, DS1 and Ds2 both top 25, DD not in top 100 but a well known name.

Nigel.

Nigels smell bad. Also they are snobby and physically repulsive.*

  • Clearly none of this is true at all. I actually don't know any Nigels and I'm sure there are many lovely ones. No idea why I have so many irrational prejudices about this name.

I've always irrationally disliked male names with a hard K sound like Colin, Kevin. (Never had any problem with female Ks though.) Inevitable then, that I should acquire two as step brothers and marry one!
