How much is your car insurance?

I'm looking at renewal soon, cheapest is £784 p/a. I've had my licence for 3 and a half years, have been driving for 3 of them. I'm 24 now and would have expected it to become a bit cheaper but it hasn't really! I haven't claimed since I've been driving or had any accidents.

How much is yours?

I have renewed this year for £250 ish pa saved around £200 from last years renewal. This was by stepping away from the comparison sites that offered around the same or more than last years.

Driving 5 yrs, no accidents. Started at around £800 when I first started driving. There are so many factors to insurance renewal and I am sure the individual companies make it up as they go along in some respect.

This year I brought my annual mileage down compared to last year as I won't be using the car near as much.

£400 ish for two cars, we're both named on both of them. But we've been driving for 40 & 30 years.

I'm 65.

I drive a nice little car which is kind of sporty - not run of the mill. It's about 10 years old and I only do minimal mileage due to my partner having a petrol card for his car so I tend to use his at the weekend and in the evenings.
I have just renewed my insurance for the year and it was £280.

I am overjoyed.

Actually, when I renewed this year it struck me that my insurance is barely more than it was in 1978 for my 1.1L Fiat 127!
