Myself and DH are on the sofa with coffee. He’s reading the newspaper online and I’m MNetting.

We’re going into town today to do some shopping (not in the UK) and have a socially distanced ramble.

Dinner tonight is ribeye steaks with browned butter sauce. Can’t wait!

DH is still in bed, lazy git. I am downstairs with DD9, DS6 and DD3. 9 and 6 year old are doing homework while 3 year old watches PJ Masks. I am about to go and put the first load into my lovely new tumble dryer, exciting!

Dh has gone to collect the shopping, oven and coffee on for croissants when he gets back. Beautiful sunny day here so will get toddler and dog out for a walk. Will do some tidying in the garden and then dh will make a curry for dinner. Nice bottle of wine coming in the shopping too for tonight

DH is sleeping. I’ve been up since seven as the postwoman delivered some parcels. I’ve had two cups of tea and now I’m having a cappuccino. I’ve drawn the curtains and am looking out onto a view of the hills.

Today I will repot my spider plant, list a load of things on eBay, and do some cleaning/tidying/organising.

Dinner will be a chicken curry.

The cat is fast asleep after having kept us awake half the night with her yowling (she's old and senile and can't help it.

I'm sitting here drinking coffee after having dropped DS at work and sending a sympathy message to a friend who has had a bereavement.

DH and DD have gone camping.

Later on, I will be picking the last of the tomatoes in the sunshine, folding dry laundry and putting some more on, and buying pizza for me and DS for this evening. Then I'm making a beef stroganoff so it is already done ready for tomorrow evening when the happy campers return.

I’m lying in bed doing this, having been up and done my morning face routine —for the first time this week—. My step son is hoovering. My daughter is cleaning the bathroom and DH is doing a Sunday roast for lunch as I bought a lovely cut of beef yesterday for Sunday; having forgot we are out on Sunday.

I’ve washed the bedding and towels, the dogs blankets are in now. Going to get it all drying on the line and make the most of the crisp autumn air.

DH is doing some overtime so is upstairs working while I’m drinking coffee and watching don’t tell the bride.

Making chicken saagwala for dinner tonight so need to get the curry paste made and chicken marinating. Will go and do bit of work myself as well for an hour or two.

We've watched some Emily's Wonderlab and snuck breakfast in the living room (we usually eat at the table in the kitchen but it's a Saturday morning treat), now I'm drinking a cuppa and Mumsnetting while the kids are getting ready for theatre class. Then once they're dropped off and I have three glorious hours of quiet I'll do a quick food shop, some ironing, run the vacuum round and make pizza dough for tonight's dinner. And if there's any time left I'll either paint my nails, read a book to watch some rubbish tv until Mr Nunya gets home with the kiddos. Rotten that I spend all my 'me' time doing chores really, but it frees me up for the afternoon so we can have some decent quality family time, and that's more important to me.

We have all gone back to bed to chill out after our breakfast. Lay here a bit longer then I will start to get washed and dressed.

Nothing planned but ultimate relaxing this weekend as it’s been a crazy week.

We will argue about whose walking the dog today.

I'm lying in bed feeling sick and hungry because I'm pregnant. DP is heading to the shop to get rolls, ds1 is sleeping, ds2 is bouncing about the living room singing, eating breakfast and keeps coming in to try and persuade me to paint his face like some rapper (as in draw the face tattoos on his face 🙄), dog is lying at the side of my bed as always.

I'm on the sofa trying to watch last night's Gardener's World with a cup of coffee. DD1 keeps coming to talk at me about whatever she's watching and the fact that she wants a tea party later (fine, but leave me alone!). DD2 is in the playroom watching tv and doing gymnastics on the sofa (I can hear her but I'm pretending I can't). DH is out playing football. It's a fairly standard Saturday morning for us, while swimming lessons aren't on - otherwise I'd be dying of heat exhaustion at the pool right now!

@Redcups I'll walk your dog! 🐶

It was my lie in this morning, so was woken by the DC's and DH with coffee and pancakes in bed at 9am.

We're now all sat in my bed, the DC's on tablets playing games and DH and I on phones faffing.

We have lunch booked in my favourite restaurant after I got fed up in the week after going into yet another local lockdown and wanted to do something to make me happy!

In bed enjoying a cuppa. Bedroom is the only room I remembered to put heating on as other radiators were off. So it’s cold!
Teen dc’s sleeping or they may be awake on their phones. DH working till 4. A quiet kind of day

DD(6) is playing with toys in her little fort, rigged up from dining chairs and a big quilt. DP has just finished putting the grocery delivery away. I’m on the sofa, drinking coffee and looking at dream rural houses on Rightmove. Am going to make more coffee in a second.
The only thing we have to do today is collect DD’s new glasses - some funky red ones she chose herself.

Currently on the sofa with dd15, DD's 6&4 are playing and eldest dd18 has gone for her lip filler appointment.
I'm taking the little ones to a play centre at noon for a couple of hours so need to gather up the energy to get us all dressed and ready. Tonight we're having an India takeaway Grin

I’m sat at my kitchen table on MN basking in the sun, just put a wash on the line and petted next doors cat. DH is testing the monoxide alarm with a joss stick and DS is still in bed. Nothing planned for the day for me except catching up on married at first sight australia which is my new guilty pleasure, DH will no doubt be off out birdwatching in a bit. Oh and Morrison's are on there way with only one item missing from my shop which is great!

We just ate pancakes; DCs are both playing with Lego - about to tackle homework with eldest, hopefully row-free. No real plans this weekend - bit lonely tbh. I’m a widowed parent and miss weekends with my lovely DH so much.

DC1 is getting dressed hopefully, DC2 is finishing her brunch, DH has gone to the shop. We need to leave in half a hour to go to our timed entry slot at a National Trust place and none of us are even dressed.

DS has just turned on tv, he’s only allowed it on weekends so now I’m trying to think of things to do to stop it turning into a 2-day binge...
His dad has just gone outside to check the car, as he’s adamant a recent update has done something to the oil gauge. This is all I’ve heard about all week.
I’m hiding under duvet, with windows open for the fresh air and the view of the brilliant blue sky, feeling quite smug because I adjust ate a bounty for pre-breakfast.
