So Father Christmas and Covid-19..has anyone seen the issue yet?

Will he be wearing a mask?
PPE?
Will he be a super spreader?
Will he even be allowed in the house?

You may think this is frivolous...but children will have picked up on the messages about people being allowed in the house etc...and Santa does go against that message.

So lucky DS is past that stage, But have people thought about this?

Santa is shielding as he is high risk (old and fat). He will instead post gifts directly to parents who will put them in stockings.

But he’s magic? Who know how he does it, he’s a superhuman. He can’t catch it!

Of course everybody knows that Father Christmas is magic, and it's not possible for him to be affected by the virus.

He's not coming into direct contact with anyone!

Santa is vulnerable to Covid and that's why it's extra important that everyone is asleep in their beds before he comes.

I'm disappointed with DS. He's lost 3 teeth since lockdown and hasn't asked any of these questions about the tooth fairy! He's usually very bright.

We're in tier 2, he's not allowed in the house.
