Do you have a kitchen bin?

And if so, how do you keep it clean?!

I've lost count of the bins I've binned because they just end up rusty and minging. Atm we're back to putting rubbish in the wheelie bin as we go along but that's no fun midwinter

And yes, I use liners and wash it often but it just doesn't cut it.

I have a large Brabantia which I empty regularly and wash inside and out every week. My family will fill it to bursting and then the bag becomes dislodged - rips open and I end up having to pick the rubbish out and put in bags and then bleach the bin.
I wish i did not have it tbh.

I have a hidden bin in the cupboard. I never use bin liners. I clean all containers before they go in the bin. Food goes in the compost bin with a biodegradable bad. Recycling in a different bin. Occasionally the general waste bin gets dirty so I fill it up with soap and bleach, leave so soak and rinse
