Cars with lots of rear seat space

Has anybody got a car that has lots of rear seat space? If so, what car is it?

I've got an Axkid Minikid which takes up so much space in the rear seats. If it's behind me as driver, it's fine, but then DP can't drive the car and we only have the one car seat at the moment, so he's behind the passenger seat which makes the front passenger seat redundant unless you're teeny tiny.

As much as I'd love a very expensive car, my finances won't stretch to some of the ones recommended online (top 4 cars for rear cabin space on one article were BMW, Porsche, Audi, Bentley ).

Skoda Superb? Is huge. Ford Mondeo also quite big.

I’m car shopping at the moment for the exact same reason. Our Axkid Minikid is being delivered today!

Skoda Superb gets mentioned a lot - the rear legroom is humongous! I’ve been drawn to the Discovery Sport but only because the rear sets slide back and forth to allow either more legroom or more boot space depending what you want.

I’d love to hear more suggestions though 😊

VW Tiguan has sliding rear seats and good legroom

VW Passat estate has the most rear seat space of anything I've ever been in.

Smax has loads of rear space.

Audi A6 does have a lot of rear space - and you can pick them up quite reasonably second hand.

That takes me back - I think the Cortina manageable.

My zafira has sliding rear seats and a ginormous boot

Honda CR-V has good back seat legroom and no column in the middle of the back seat floor, so a much more comfortable middle back seat should you need it.

Ignore me. The Skoda Superb seems to habe way more legroom. Sometimes I forget how much of a short arse I am! 😂😂

Space in new Peugeot 3008 with Joie 360 ERF seat installed. I've measured the 360 to need between 74-79cm cabin space depending on recline, the Minikid apparently needs 77cm (I assume that's on min legroom, most upright). This is an in between recline, so probably comparable to Minikid size on that one.

I'm 170cm tall and these are my legs :o Not in UK hence wrong side of car :)

Have you looked at a smaller car seat instead?!

@AllTheCakes Unfortunately, there's not many (if any) small extended rear facing car seats. The one I have is one of the smaller fitting seats already according to the Car Seat Advice Group 😩

Ford S Max has loads of space !

Interested in this too, I have number 2 on the way and our Joie 360 is installed behind the passenger seat as there isn’t enough room behind the driver.

Skoda Superb - dh is 6'3 and ds is 6'3 now and he had loads of legroom behind DH. CRV is good too

Our mazda 5 is pretty good. Im 5'9 and DS is 6'2 and comfortably sits behind me.

The Mokka can seat adults in the back pretty comfortably and feels nice and wide.

Tesla model s has tons, 3 adults fit comfortably with leg room.

I test drove an Audi Q7 at the weekend. Loads of space for a car seat (we tried!) and sliding rear seats. Downside is it’s quite pricey 😐

I’d LOVE a Tesla, a little pricey though.

Skoda Octavia estate has loads of space, and will be cheaper than the superb.
