Funnily enough, I went to see that very house a few weeks ago. Fabulous views, but I didn't like the layout as the family bathroom was on the ground floor, the bedrooms it served were on the second - a long trek if you needed the loo at night. I ended up buying a house a bit further along the Esplanade (with a much better layout 😀) and I can't wait to move in. Those views...

I was coming along to tell about the Sandgate houses - god, I love Sandgate.
There are similar ones along the coast at St Mary's Bay, the area doesn't have the same cachet as Sandgate and further to the station (but if you go straight up the 259/2070 to Ashford then St Pancras is only 36 mins).
These have a gateway onto the beach (across a 6 feet wide path) and you can cycle for literally miles along the coast. The coast is a little wilder on this section, which appeals to me.
