So quick question is it

‘You’ve got another thing coming’ or
‘You’ve got another think coming’??

Worried I have been saying it wrong all these years

This comes up time and time again on here. It's think but lots of people say thing.

It's think. "If you think.......then you've another think coming". Thing makes absolutely no sense. It means you need to prepare to think differently.

Think is a verb, thing is a noun. The sentence in question requires a noun, therefore a thing or a thought.. not a think!! You are all wrong!!
