How many website windows do you have open on your phone browser right now?

I don't know if my usual 40 is excessive...

I will usually run with a couple and close very soon after. If you leave them open they slow the phone down, use more power and also data if you go out and haven't closed them

Not sure that’s true. This says it’s fine to keep apps open (better than swiping up to get rid) so web pages should be the same?
When you reopen a page that’s been sitting there for ages it often shows something different, as if it only updates itself when you open it.

Unfortunately not! I frequently hit the max limit and cannot open any more.

My problem is that friends send me links to really interesting articles, and I open them with the intention of reading them... Then get distracted. I will read them one day!

I don't think they slow my phone down or use up data or anything so will continue to keep around that number open (despite now being enlightened to the use of a bookmark...). I can't believe some of you have hundreds open tho!

Slightly inspired by this thread I've cleaned up my mum's phone. Over 100 tabs open .

On my phone,I stopped counting after 200, I didn't realise they didn't clear when I closed Safari...

I've got 38 open on my laptop though. Four of them are Delia recipes.
