Shell shocked, tubes tied but positive pregnancy test?

GoJetterGirl · 24/08/2020 17:48

Hi,

So, it’s been one hell of a year, but today I was feeling a bit off and had been snapping at my husband non stop for the last few days and realised my period is late, so, not feeling particularly worried, and more to soothe my mind, I took a test, I will post both pics, the first is at 3 minutes, the second at 8... I need someone to verify I’m actually seeing what I’m seeing, I’ve taken 3 tests, and all 3 are looking positive,

Thanks in advance

emmaluggs · 24/08/2020 17:51

Yeah looks positive to me

GoJetterGirl · 24/08/2020 17:54

Feeling very very shocked, GoJetterBoy passed away in February, and I was thinking I was irritable as part of the grieving process, I don’t even feel like I would normally if expecting my period, and my tubes are tied 😱

You mention GoJetterBoy passed away but you also mention your DH. Who was GoJetterBoy?

Wishing you the best. Thanks

KTD27 · 24/08/2020 18:02

Oh my goodness OP what a shock. How are you feeling? I followed your story and thought of your son often. I can’t even begin to imagine the emotions running through your brain but yes that looks very positive. Flowers

ImFree2doasiwant · 24/08/2020 18:04

Oh goodness me I remember your posts about Gojetterboy. Flowers

It does look positive.

Potatoface12 · 24/08/2020 18:08

I remember your posts OP. Have you told your DH? Sending love Flowers

summerfish · 24/08/2020 18:09

@GoJetterGirl Have just caught up on your previous thread. So much to process. Sending love.

EmbarrassingAdmissions · 24/08/2020 18:13

I think of you and your lovely boy so often - GJG

DressingGownofDoom · 24/08/2020 18:15

I think of you and GoJetterBoy every time it comes on TV. Try another test lovely because I've had blue lines on Clearblue before and they've been evaps. Maybe a digital one would be good.

Mydogsnotfat · 24/08/2020 18:16

I remember all your posts about your lovely boy. Sometimes the world just moves in mysterious ways as they say. xxxx

Hope you get your head round this if it is as it seems x

TheLetterZ · 24/08/2020 18:25

You are going to need to see a doctor, pregnant after tube litigation can increase the risk of ectopic pregnancies so you will need to get that checked.

I am sorry for your loss and having an unexpected pregnancy on top must be very hard.

GoldenPlover · 24/08/2020 18:32

Wow OP, I hope you're okay and are feeling like you're able to process it Flowers

Sallyspoons · 24/08/2020 18:44

I also think about you and your son, he was the same age as mine and he sounded amazing. Hope you are ok xx

DevonHoliday20 · 24/08/2020 18:48

Hi GJG, I too followed your posts about lovely GoJetterBoy. What a strange thing to happen now, if you are indeed pregnant. Whatever the outcome, I wish you all the very best.

bearlyactive · 24/08/2020 18:53

I lit a candle for your little GoJetterBoy when I was visiting a church last month, quite a coincidence.

Best wishes to you and your family, whatever you decide to do.

Monstamio · 24/08/2020 18:57

They definitely look positive, so you need to contact your GP asap. As mentioned above, after tubal ligation you're at high risk for an ectopic pregnancy. Wishing you all the best Flowers

jellyandiscream · 24/08/2020 19:02

Have to agree with PP's that they do look positive. Have you any idea how late you are? Have you got a link dye test that you can try as well?

weneedboujiecocktails · 24/08/2020 19:05

Wow, what a shock. I remember your posts with gojetterboy (the same age as my son) and I think about you all of the time Daffodil

Babdoc · 24/08/2020 19:08

It’s possible the gynaecologist tied off your round ligament instead of your Fallopian tube - it does happen occasionally. And yes, as mentioned upthread, it can be an ectopic pregnancy which risks killing you if it ruptures - so call your GP asap.

AintOverUntilTheCatLadySings · 24/08/2020 19:09

Sending you support and positive vibes. Can only imagine your shock Thanks

IncrediblySadToo · 24/08/2020 19:09

Hi lovely, I've had wool out today for GJB😉😊

You must be in shock! & running out of wee!!

Tbh they look more like evap lines to me, but I've been wrong before!

Gut feeling~ do you want it to be positive or negative?!

You need to see a Dr ASAP as I believe it can be very risky once you've had your TT.

I really hope it's whatever you hope for yourself x

mineofuselessinformation · 24/08/2020 19:11

I remember your name, and the news of your little boy. Thanks
I sincerely hope for you that this turns out the way you want it to be - you've been through enough already.

EarringsandLipstick · 24/08/2020 19:15

Oh my goodness OP I remember you & GJB so well & lit a candle at the time.

I really hope you can get clarity from your GP & that this works out well for you, either way.

It's so hard, trying to cope with this momentous news after losing GJB this year 🌺
