Shell shocked, tubes tied but positive pregnancy test?

Hi,

So, it’s been one hell of a year, but today I was feeling a bit off and had been snapping at my husband non stop for the last few days and realised my period is late, so, not feeling particularly worried, and more to soothe my mind, I took a test, I will post both pics, the first is at 3 minutes, the second at 8... I need someone to verify I’m actually seeing what I’m seeing, I’ve taken 3 tests, and all 3 are looking positive,

Thanks in advance

I hope things work out, I assume your son died, early or not.
Maybe this is a gift if your health, husband and you can cope?
I have no idea if you have other children, sending love and strength

AngelaScandal · 24/08/2020 19:25

Oh I was just talking about GoJetterBoy today to my own little gojetterboy. I was telling him about the little boy who lives up there with Lars and Zuli.
Might be an idea to arrange a chat with someone to help you process how you feel about the pregnancy.

I'm so so sorry about your boy xx

My aunt had a baby despite her tubes being tied. She had lost A LOT of weight and I think they said that was the reason.

DianasLasso · 24/08/2020 20:13

Flowers GoJetterGirl. I remember your threads. I hope this works out for the best for you and your DH, whatever the best outcome for you turns out to be.

Flamingolingo · 24/08/2020 20:23

Oh gosh what a lot for you to process. Sending you love, I sobbed over your post when your son passed Flowers

Pavlova31 · 24/08/2020 20:32

Ah @GoJetterGirl it is you. Well, that looks like you are getting a surprise baby.

My good friend has the lovliest twin boys - 2 years after her tubes were tied. Well, tied is a 'loose term' - turns out there is an approved method of tubal ligation (here in Trumpville at least) that involves simply cutting. No tying done. The ends wave around, and can find each other. Apparently. She sued, but lost her case. Got her beautiful twins though, so a good outcome in the end.

I hope you can take some time to figure out what this means to you, and what to do.

I think so often of you, and your lovely GoJetterBoy. My smallest DGS was building a pink and purple lego house, and I thought 'oh GoJetterBoy would approve' - he is much thought of, that beautiful boy.

CottonSock · 24/08/2020 20:51

What a shock. Another one here thinking of you. Could you pop out for some different tests?

ohfourfoxache · 24/08/2020 20:53

Oh @GoJetterGirl Shock

I just don’t know what to say love, how much more is life going to throw at you?

Offering a handhold Thanks

AllTheCakes · 24/08/2020 20:56

Thinking of you and hope you are okay, whatever the outcome.

Remembering your son with love and prayers.

OhYeahYouSuck · 24/08/2020 21:39

Blimey that is a shock and they look conclusively positive, not even a squinty line! Like pps said, ectopic is a big risk so speak to your GP asap.

Maybe it was meant to be after losing your son Flowers.

amusedbush · 24/08/2020 22:33

I remember your threads about your lovely boy Flowers

You must be in shock. As others have said, can you get a pink dye test to be sure?

MrsPerfect12 · 24/08/2020 22:56

Looks positive in the first picture but can't see a line on the second. Hope you're okay.

tinatsarina · 25/08/2020 00:00

Looks positive to me

itsgettingweird · 25/08/2020 00:13

Could you did a digital one?

I'm sure this is all too much to process after the year you've had Thanks

But yes if tubes are tied you need to know for sure and see a GP whilst trying to process everything.

notapizzaeater · 25/08/2020 00:19

💐 looks Positive, I'd do a digital one in the morning to check.

Hope you feeling ok ? ((Hugs)) x

CharlieTangoBanana · 25/08/2020 09:48

OP one of my best friends got pregnant after her tubes were tied a number of years ago, she thought she was suffering middle age spread but it turned out she was 20 weeks pregnant.
Wishing you all the best

IncrediblySadToo · 25/08/2020 10:08

Just checking in to see how you are doing this morning x

CormoranStrike · 25/08/2020 19:52

How are you doing @GoJetterGirl - hope you and DH have found out one way or another.

Sending you 💐 and 🤗

zippityzip · 26/08/2020 06:19

Hey @GoJetterGirl - I followed you all through last year and your strength and dignity made me cry regularly.
Your stories of GoJetterBoy always stayed with me.
If you can get through that, then you are capable of absolutely anything. I hope this all works out for you, which ever way you want it to go.
I hope you're ok xxx
