I like Hallie but i dont think Olivia goes with it.

Maybe Hallie Rose.

MoggyMittens23 · 24/08/2020 17:11

Nice, different. Don’t think middle names matter

EdersonsSmileyTattoo · 24/08/2020 17:11

There are three girls named Hallie in my DS class at school, I think it’s a lovely name but I don’t think Olivia goes with it.

FlibbertyGiblets · 24/08/2020 17:11

How would it be prn? Like Albert Hall-y or Hay-lee?

DocOfTheBay · 24/08/2020 17:15

Halle.

Lovely. But is a bit of a tongue twister with Olivia.

It's not Haylee or Hally, it's Hallie to rhyme with Sally
Crapster · 24/08/2020 17:21

It's very popular now, which may or may not bother you. Definitely not unusual!

Personally I find the two L sounds a bit much and I think it sounds a bit "run together" when you say it aloud but that is possibly just my local accent!

Neither- it’s the same as Halle Berry, just a different spelling.
FlibbertyGiblets · 24/08/2020 17:39

Oh I am such a berk!! Thank you!!

aShinyNewUsername · 24/08/2020 17:45

I think both names sound lovely.

Flynn999 · 24/08/2020 17:59

Not sure it goes with Olivia. I think it goes well with rose or may.... BUT both of these are overused.

Babs709 · 24/08/2020 18:00

Yes love, works fine with Olivia IMO

RosieLemonade · 24/08/2020 18:01

I know SO many Hallie / Halle s

shushymcshush · 24/08/2020 18:05

I think its pretty lovely and cool.

Agree with PP that Olivia doesn't flow well with it - too many vowels and the 2-4 syllables is overkill. A single or double syllabled name would work well e.g. Hallie Rose or Hallie Louise for example

Kpo58 · 24/08/2020 18:12

Comet as a middle name? Wink

rayoflightboy · 24/08/2020 18:17

Comet as a middle name?

Polnm · 24/08/2020 18:26

Are you a Big Bang fan?

On Big Bang they pronounce it hallie after the comet
Carouselfish · 24/08/2020 18:28

Instant reaction from friend was halitosis.
I don't mind it but it feels a bit unfinished.

CarolVordermansArse · 24/08/2020 18:38

Instead of Olivia, how about Borange?

kursaalflyer · 24/08/2020 18:47

Or Louya? Wink

Selassie then. Which is who Comes to mind for me (and was a man).
Miggymoggymugwumps · 24/08/2020 19:41

Sorry but I can't help thinking they will end up being called Hallie Tosis!!!

goingtotown · 24/08/2020 20:44

Hayley, no problem with the spelling or the pronunciation like Hallie.

MondeoFan · 24/08/2020 20:46

I prefer the spelling Halle

I know one she is 14 ish

I'd chose a different middle name than Olivia though
