Just that really... I'm a chilli girl, the hotter the better but I do enjoy garlic & herb...

Bearnaise, but obviously is depends what it is accompanying.

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 22/08/2020 15:38

I like our homemade chilli sauces. DH grows different types of habaneros etc. and then creates sauces.
A good chilli sauce turns even brussel sprouts edible.

Raera · 22/08/2020 15:39

Creamy garlic mushroom, having that later with steak

snowone · 22/08/2020 15:39

Blue cheese......on a great steak! 😊

PurpleDaisies · 22/08/2020 15:40

I love a good chilli sauce. Or a posh brown sauce.

Afwan · 22/08/2020 15:42

Mint sauce. On every roast dinner, not even sorry Grin

amieejust · 22/08/2020 15:42

Onion and gorgonzola cheese - made with cream.

Deathraystare · 22/08/2020 15:42

Deffo chilli (not the sweet one), but at Christmas I love bread sauce!

iklboo · 22/08/2020 15:43

Bearnaise or a really good, strong cheese sauce.

rottiemum88 · 22/08/2020 15:44

Chilli for me too, though never sweet chilli, which is an abomination of a sauce IMHO Grin

katie43210 · 22/08/2020 15:47

The homemade chilli sounds ace! Although I'm not sure anything can make sprouts edible!

I'm in full agreement about sweet chilli being crap and mint sauce. I haven't had it in ages!

I've never tried bearnaise!

Chimichurri. Having it with ribeye tonight 😋

lazylinguist · 22/08/2020 15:51

Nigella's chocolate peanut butter sundae sauce Grin

Or the white wine, garlic, cream and thyme sauce that dh makes to go with roast chicken.

katie43210 · 22/08/2020 15:54

My god. Where do I find this magical Nigella sauce?

OP posts:
elephantoverthehill · 22/08/2020 15:54

Hollandaise

katie43210 · 22/08/2020 15:54

Ooooh ribeye. I'm jealous.

OP posts:
katie43210 · 22/08/2020 15:55

I'm not huge on hollandaise I must admit, but I think I must never have had a decent one.

OP posts:
katie43210 · 22/08/2020 15:56

Also jealous of the creamy garlic mushroom and steak.

katie43210 · 22/08/2020 16:00

My choices seem very dull reading this. Ah good old Delia, I shall swot up.

Mint sauce. On every roast dinner, not even sorry Grin
I’ll put mint sauce on anything with gravy tbh. Minty mash and gravy is a dream food.
katie43210 · 22/08/2020 16:03

Mint sauce is now going on tomorrows Sunday chicken dinner.

OP posts:
Toomuchtooyoung01 · 22/08/2020 16:06

mint sauce!!!!!
horseradish
not technically sauce but I could dip just about anything in Pizza Express salad dressing

katie43210 · 22/08/2020 16:11

I shall allow salad dressing as a dip.
