Maybe I’m too old. 🙁 The 80s were mid teens to mid 20s for me.

@NeedToKnow101 I'm not claiming it as I only had an inkling so googled. OMG that took me back! But confession time - I did have an album with it on, so it was in the dim & distant recesses of my not quite teen mind (no wonder I couldn't quite get there) 🤣🤣

Well, I only had one burgundy pair actually (I blame my mum), but my bedroom walls had my Smash Hits Leroy from Fame posters (next to my Julian Cope ones). And my misguided self and a friend wrote to Jim'll Fix It to ask to go to New York to meet them all.

@NeedToKnow101 I didn't put up any Fame posters, but I liked Bruno 😁. Saw a documentry a few years ago & the actor who played him has now lost those dark curls and is bald!
