Found this. Imagine going back "for coffee" after a date and encountering a skeleton on crucifix and penny sweet machine in situ. Love Rightmove ❤

Fabulous, utterly fabulous. Although part of me feels a little sad at churches being turned homes.

DullDullWeather · 16/08/2020 08:53

Oh its lovely .

Interesting collection of bottles in the kitchen , looks like gin . Discalimer. Do not drink gin so not 100%

PegasusReturns · 16/08/2020 08:53

It’s not done nicely at all Confused

They’ve really butchered some of the architecture with the walls cutting off the arches. And the kitchen looks like it belongs in a wimpey new build. What a shame.

BrokenBrit · 16/08/2020 08:54

Wow @AmigoDog now that one is some property! Very creative and well designed, but does give me the creeps! Can certainly imagine what types of party they like to host!!

Sexnotgender · 16/08/2020 08:55

There’s really beautiful bits and weird as fuck bits!

Remove all the weird crap and it’d be great.

alreadytaken · 16/08/2020 08:55

Whoever was responsible for the conversion did a great job. I would remove the skeleton if the owner left it behind though. I'd have mixed feeling about living in a former church - bodies tend to be buried underneath them.

GinJeanie · 16/08/2020 08:56

@AmigoDog - Wow! That one is far more dramatic. Very theatrical! I love these threads and wondering who lives in the properties. My house is so ordinary 😂

Some weird rooms! Is that triple level bunk beds?

Happymum12345 · 16/08/2020 08:56

I love it!

AmigoDog · 16/08/2020 09:25

I think so. It’s listed with another agent and they have a clearer picture of that room.
There’s a blue light thing that I have no idea what it is.

God, I LOVE that one! Pennywise stalking your personal bowling alley, lots of corners for Things to hide in.........perfect ❤️❤️

MimiLaRue · 16/08/2020 09:31

I LOVE IT!! Ive always wanted to live in a converted church and I love houses with character. What an absolute beauty. I would so buy this if I could.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 16/08/2020 09:45

The weird crap is the only thing about the decor that is remotely interesting. Remove it and it would be boring as fuck. The building itself is lovely.
coconuttyhead · 16/08/2020 09:52

It reminds me of all those “find the object” computer games!
I think it is a beautiful building but agree with PegasusReturns, the way those grand arches have been broken up in order to create rooms doesn’t look right at all.

TSSDNCOP · 16/08/2020 09:57

I think the round door in House 2 is the furnace door, as looking at the name it's an old bath house.

I love them both, particularly number 2.

megletthesecond · 16/08/2020 10:03

The house in St Leonards-on-Sea is a serial killers house right? Shock

The church in Bristol isn't bad. I like the small gym overlooking the double height room.

Katinski · 16/08/2020 10:04

Boring as fuck bog-standard(see what I did there?) lavs.

Winederlust · 16/08/2020 10:12

The first one just doesn't look right to me. I agree with pp that they've butchered some of the building's features and it's made some of the rooms just look odd.

The one Amigo posted though is amazing! It's what the first property wishes it was imo!

Julmust · 16/08/2020 10:24

I couldn't see the sweet machine or skeleton. My longsightedness must be worse than i thought!

thegcatsmother · 16/08/2020 10:25

I wouldn't want a TV over the AGA - spatter from sausages.

SilverOtter · 16/08/2020 10:31

Wow what a beautiful place!

MintyCedric · 16/08/2020 10:34

I don't think I'd even notice the skeleton...that place is gorgeous!

Muuuuuuuum · 16/08/2020 10:35

That first one is very near me. There's another (smaller) property for sale in same development that is a bit more affordable, for the fans who don't have £1.2 million.

I quite like it but reckon my cats would kamikaze off those glass balconies all the time Grin

Jeremyironsnothing · 16/08/2020 10:37

I'd be impressed going back for coffee.

Onekidnoclue · 16/08/2020 10:39

Don’t panic! If the church was too pricey but you love an unusual interior you can still move to Bristol...
