LTB(utter)

Not great, but at least it’s not full of crumbs (I was expecting this when I opened the pic!)

user1471538283 · 15/08/2020 15:50

Oh no the butter version of spoonyfucker!

Murder him, no court in the land would convict you.

CaptainMyCaptain · 15/08/2020 15:52

My husband does that with added crumbs and it annoys the hell out of me. My solution is to cut off a smallish portion for the butter dish and keep the rest in the fridge - ration it out.

Lottieskeeper · 15/08/2020 15:54

Your DH & mine must be related; bastards!
At least you don't have burnt toast crumbs Angry.

FlamingoAndJohn · 15/08/2020 15:57

I can but be grateful for the lack of crumbs.

OP posts:
QueSera · 15/08/2020 16:04

No crumbs - count your blessings!

PenguinsOnParade · 15/08/2020 16:04

The DC are the culprits for that sort of thing here. We now have "their butter" and "our butter" because I was fed up of trying to find a bit that hadn't had toast crumbs mashed into it. They're in their teens now too so not like they're really young.

1forAll74 · 15/08/2020 16:13

I get mine like that at times, when it's a bit hard to spread, I just scrape and stab at it if I need it quickly. Only me here, and it's my butter, so no problem. !

But I don’t keep my butter in the fridge. Right now it’s a soft as ....... well........ butter.

tiredanddangerous · 15/08/2020 16:18

Ours looks like that only with a layer of toast crumbs. I keep meaning to ban the dc from making toast but then I'd just have to make it myself Hmm

SissySpacekAteMyHamster · 15/08/2020 16:19

If there's butter in the jam, definitely LTB

YellowandGreenToBeSeen · 15/08/2020 16:25

But... but... butter don’t understand Wink what’s wrong with it?!

Kez200 · 15/08/2020 16:27

Lack of crumbs and hot weather. Its excusable. Butter has a mind of its own in this weather.

CaptainCorellisPangolin · 15/08/2020 16:28

Divorce?
I'd be digging up the patio in preparation.

Coronacurls · 15/08/2020 16:29

Even worse when they leave a smear of Marmite 🤮

MiddleClassProblem · 15/08/2020 16:31

I think you can go to relate for this. It’s workable due to the lack of crumbs and clear heat issue.

fairydustandpixies · 15/08/2020 16:33

It should be in a plastic tub in the fridge! Who has committed the atrocity of de-tubbing it??? Definitely LTB whoever did that!!!

TheEC · 15/08/2020 16:34

At least there’s no crumbs in it

bengalcat · 15/08/2020 16:37

Another one for at least there's no crumbs or anything else in it .

Butter tends not to come in a tub and is too hard straight from the fridge. You are thinking of marge.
ReturnofSaturn · 15/08/2020 16:42

What's actually wrong with it? It just looks like half used butter!

BarbaraofSeville · 15/08/2020 16:54

Butter doesn't come in plastic tubs and shouldn't be kept in the fridge.

Although anywhere that still has hot weather (not here, it's buggered off) you probably just want to put a small amount out or else it might go a bit rancid.

Nice butter dish btw OP.
