It must be.

@fairydustandpixies

It should be in a plastic tub in the fridge! Who has committed the atrocity of de-tubbing it??? Definitely LTB whoever did that!!!
Plastic tub? This isn’t your ‘spreadable’ nonsense you know. This is Waitrose Brittany butter. What else would one keep it in but a butter dish?

Although anywhere that still has hot weather (not here, it's buggered off) you probably just want to put a small amount out or else it might go a bit rancid.

It’s still warm here but my kitchen is cool enough that it doesn’t go off.

I half think my kids deliberately attack butter in that way, because the only way i know to salvage the situation is to make cookies with the mangled butter, and get out a new block......

minnieok · 15/08/2020 19:06

I've seen far worse, my kids used to dig into it in the middle.

Now I'm free of kids my butter is perfect.

DappledThings · 15/08/2020 20:18

I don't get it. What's wrong with it?

ruabon1 · 15/08/2020 20:32

What is worse for me is that you have butter instead of low fat margarine. I am imagining the face of a doctor you visit in 20 years time.

Someone hasn’t heard the news that fat is good for you...

lachy · 15/08/2020 22:52

I'd rather have real butter than that horrible fake yellow sludge.

I've tried every brand going, but none of it is palatable, so I buy proper butter and have it a couple of times a week.

Is this a joke?
TitsOutForHarambe · 15/08/2020 23:40

There's no crumbs in this butter. Game on.

Why? Eating a bit of butter, as part of a healthy balanced diet, is absolutely fine.
