Tweezer recommendations

Can anyone recommend a really good, sharp pair of tweezers. Square or slanted.

I have a hair I can feel poking through and it needs to get out of my face now.

My usual are just not getting it.

Tweezerman. I have about 6 pairs, stashed in various rooms and bags. Bloody PCOS means I am quite the hairy woman!

Haha, me too! A pair in my bedroom, a pair in a make up bag in the kitchen, one in each bathroom, one pair in my handbag and a pair in the glove compartment.

speakfriendandenter · 11/08/2020 19:57

Agreeing with a slanted pair of tweezerman! I have many pairs!

Janaih · 11/08/2020 21:00

A rare unanimous thread Grin

luckylavender · 11/08/2020 21:11

Tweezermann. I'd had mine for years & still fantastic.

IhateBoswell · 11/08/2020 21:13

Surprised no one has mentioned them, but Tweezerman are the best I’ve used.

IloveJudgeJudy · 11/08/2020 21:15

Tweezerman from me, too

ODFOx · 11/08/2020 21:17

When my daughter borrowed my tweezermans without asking and didn't return them I cried. She so so didn't get it.
I am of an age where the need for good tweezers is not a want but a necessity.
Then she got an in growing hair. NOW she understands!

belvoirbeaver · 11/08/2020 21:22

I'm clearly too late but also adding to the tweezerman love. And they'll sharpen them for free (when not in covid times)

I'm impressed that you have six pairs. I have three and I thought that was a lot!

Tweezerman. Best tweezers ever.

How exactly do you go about getting them sharpened? Can it be done in shops or do you have to send them somewhere?
Concretenotcement · 11/08/2020 21:32

When I think I’ve lost a pair I buy another, I start panicking! I then find the ‘lost’ pair, hence I now have 6.

I have a selection of colours, the rose gold are my current favourite!

IhateBoswell · 11/08/2020 21:41

I have three in a nice black matte colour, I guard them like the Crown Jewels.

nancybotwinbloom · 11/08/2020 21:47

I haven't told anyone have ordered them as my tweezers are always pinched!

These are getting stashed

tectonicplates · 11/08/2020 21:51

OP make sure you report back once you've received them and tell us how it's going.

belvoirbeaver · 11/08/2020 21:52

Tectonicplates they aren't accepting any for sharpening at the moment but the info is here: www.tweezerman.co.uk/free-sharpening

Janaih · 11/08/2020 21:55

Dammit I want another pair in a jazzy colour now
