Can anyone recommend a really good, sharp pair of tweezers. Square or slanted.

I have a hair I can feel poking through and it needs to get out of my face now.

My usual are just not getting it.

@belvoirbeaver

Tectonicplates they aren't accepting any for sharpening at the moment but the info is here: www.tweezerman.co.uk/free-sharpening
Considering you have to pay the postage to send them to the USA, I might as well just buy a new pair instead. Which is not a problem. Grin

I don't even need any new tweezers but after all these recommendations I have ordered some!!

Tweezerman point tweezers and x15 magnification mirror are the perfect combination. The light in the mirror is a bit rubbish but I don't care, the magnification is the thing

Good choice. I would have also suggested Tweezerman.

If you don't want Tweezerman, which I also love, then Flying Tiger do a great pair for a quid a pop

CorianderLord · 11/08/2020 22:53

Oh and for those thinking about sharpening - you can buy a Tweezerfile and sharpen at home

tectonicplates · 11/08/2020 23:00

Ah fabulous, I didn't know such a thing existed! www.tweezerfile.com/

Thank you!

I recently ‘lost’ my tweezers a mystery where they went) so headed to Boots for replacement. Couldn’t bring myself to spend so much on the Tweezerman ones so spent £1.80 on Boots own slanted tweezers. They are very good.

I'm just coming back to this thread to say I've received my Tweezerfile (www.tweezerfile.com) and it's great - I've sharpened my tweezers and they're as good as new! Thanks @CorianderLord for the recommendation. Far less faff than posting your tweezers to the USA.
