Everyone moaning sbout the heat as if they were living in Death Valley.

Death Valley isn’t humid though. It’s the humidity which makes the heat uncomfortable.

Watching unfit people on cycles desperately trying to ride up steep hills in seering noon heat...while you drive at .00000000001 miles per hour behind them praying they don't fall off or collapse in front of your car on a narrow bend.

My husband complaining that he’s hot, because no else is of course.

By that I mean, ordinary things that suddenly require allllll my efforts like undoing a padlock for the garage, carrying things in from the car, going up the stairs, moving.

Just moving in general really.

Having to prepare something to eat when you can’t be arsed to move.

Not being able to take dog for a walk because it’s too hot.

Seeing sweaty men shirtless in the street.

always putting nice make up on and coming back in later with hairs stuck to my sticky face, a puddle where my back used to be, a bit of smudged mascara under one eye and some thunder bug just stuck to my sweaty red face.

Also bras are so uncomfortable in this heat.

Oh and having to blow dry your just washed hair with a fan pointing at you because otherwise you might melt and get so sweaty you need a second shower.

When the kids whine for snacks but won't eat their meals. My appetite is affected too but I have to make the effort to keep them alive.

Doing deconstructed meals now - meat as a snack, cold pasta as a snack, raw veg as a snack. Would be a hot meal any other day so it counts as real food/meal when it's this hot IMO.

And all the soft chocolate. I like my dairy milk at room temperature - but not today's room temperature.
