How old is too old to play in the nude?

Don't think there's a limit. Whatever they're comfortable with!

No limit. Just when they stop being comfortable.

My 4 and 3 yr old are both nude. I’ve offered swim suits, they said no!! I bet modesty will kick in at some point and then they will be too old to be nude (my garden isn’t over looked which makes my decision easier)

In their own garden, any age, just make sure they have sun protection.

My 7 year old and 4 year old run about nude and it’s fine. I guess the time I’d start to be concerned is if they’d reached puberty but I suspect by then they won’t want to.

My DT's 3.5y been in paddling pool naked every hot day recently! They do start off with those all in 1 swimmers on but they always take them off!

My almost 8 year olds choose to be naked most of the time in hot weather.

Indoors my 4 and 7 year old can be naked whenever they like. Outdoors I have started to ask particularly the 7 year old to have shorts or pants on as he so loves being naked I feel I need to teach him about public decency. 😂

Dh wont let mine be naked in the garden . If they were allowed they would happily be naked in and out of the paddling pool- ages 4/7/9- although the 9 year old is nearly past that.

I'm glad you posted this. Let me 15 month old paddle naked yesterday and DH said that no one else would let their kids be naked.

My 9 year old is just starting to choose to wear something. I would say be led by the dc. Nothing wrong with being naked as long as they are comfortable.

No Rules if you want to be naked in the paddling pool you can, so so can a child.

Probably about the time they are too big for the paddling pool.

DD would quite happily play naked in the paddling pool and garden. She starts stripping her clothes off at 5.30 most evenings - its fine in the house, but our garden is overlooked so no naked swimming allowed.

I had my 6 and 8 year old wear trunks today, but mainly because they are pasty little creatures who would burn at night!

Had them wear rash guards too, but that's also because I hate applying sun cream and less visible flesh means less cream to apply. Winner.

As long as your garden is not overlooked then as long as they feel comfortable!

7 year old is happy to be naked in the paddling pool.
10yo would not.
I think most of the time they come to their own conclusions but I would’ve said 10 ish.

In their own garden, until they decide otherwise.

Depends. My garden is overlooked by several properties, so probably never.

Similar to pp, 7 & 4, they think it’s hilarious running around with willies out! My 14 year old DD would not though🤣🤣
