Norma had been a Mumsnet regular over the years and we are so sad to let you know that earlier this morning she died. She had been very ill (not Covid related ) and in the end her body couldn't cope any more. Devastating for her husband and their wonderful children, their families and friends. They will miss her terribly.

Norma really wasn't one to burden others with her worries, but was a very kind and selfless friend. So supportive of others. Generous to a fault in many ways, and very bloody entertaining.

Utterly devastating news.

We thought there may be folk on here who'd like to remember her. It's such a shock. Can't quite take it in. :(

We will miss her.

Sending so much love to her family xxx

Norma was absolutely wonderful. So capable of bringing a smile to so many faces.

Sleep well, Norma.

Oh Norma. Such a wonderful woman. Hilarious, kind, switched on, generous. The world is a little less bright with her gone.

Go well friend.

Oh how sad. Really sorry to hear this.

If anyone is interested and able to help, we are starting a Woolly Hug blanket in her memory this afternoon. With an aim to create two, one for them and one to raise funds for Refuge in Norma's name. Will pop a link here, no pressure though lovely people xxxx

@KnottyAndPistey have you got a link for the Woolly Hug for NSF? I've searched but can't find it.

I was so sad to hear this news this morning (from the Hugs thread). Unfortunately I missed this thread originally. She was an absolute ⭐️ across so many areas of MN (and outside MN). I'm sad never to have knowingly met her in person,

Lots of love to her family & friends
Xx

A wonderful poster who I only ever knew from her posts but a lovely kind and decent intelligent witty person through and through who will be missed on many levels by so many.
Deepest condolences to her family and all her close friends. Flowers
