It's utterly spectacular. Breathtaking. Glorious.

I've driven through it quite a few times and it always takes my breath away.

It is lovely.

But please bear in mind that there are people who use the A82 every day for a whole host of reasons and get really frustrated stuck behind dawdling tourists. Pull in at the car parks, enjoy the views, take pictures. And be considerate to locals!

Last time I drove along there I was stuck behind a car crawling along at about 15mph, it's so frustrating as the driver was so totally oblivious.

@SockYarn, we stuck to the speed limits on the roads, and we're constantly overtaken by speeding cars desperate to get somewhere. And some driving right up our arse too. It's so annoying. One guy beeped us as we were doing 50 in a 50 zone. So I guess for every dithering sightseer there's someone else going too fast and driving dangerously.
Actually one guy in the black Isle overtook us at such speed something flew off his roof rack, which had canoes on it. Sorry to say that made us smirk, dh said that'll be the one thing he needs
