Careful where you buy from though OP there have been so many threads on here with Facebook market place / friend of a friend who is a baker producing really wank cakes and using other people's photos to bring in customers who end up very disappointed Grin

I’d be pleasantly surprised if it were under £100 but would full expect to pay up to £150.

Don't know. Have you asked Joy?

Bluesheep8 · 03/08/2020 15:27

however I fully expect this to turn into a huge bun fight about people not understanding how much time / ingredients / money it costs to make cakes like it normally does

A bun fight on a cake thread. This has got to win pun of the day surely? Grin

shellysheridan · 03/08/2020 15:31

The cake itself isn't huge but it's clearly taken a very long time to decorate and to a very nice standard.
I think £80

£80-£100

PeskyRooks · 03/08/2020 15:37

Hamm87 · 03/08/2020 15:43

It really depends on location in the county but as a local cake maker I would charge 65 for that cake to be made

SuperheroBirds · 03/08/2020 15:47

About £150 depending on the size of it and how detailed the decorations were

Staffy1 · 03/08/2020 15:48

£60 - £80.

Beautiful3 · 03/08/2020 15:50

£80 from a home and £100 from a shop.

OzziePopPop · 03/08/2020 15:52

Not sure what joy would pay but I’d expect £100-150, there’s hours of work in those cakes!

Probably around £100.

WaxOnFeckOff · 03/08/2020 15:53
