Look, men get tired right? They cannot exist on yogurt, they need manly meat cooked by someone else!

Babs709 · 01/08/2020 14:54

Redd Pepper???? His name is Redd Pepper? I don’t know if I’m hoping that’s a real name or a stage name

EatsShootsAndRuns · 01/08/2020 15:21

Stage name. Pity. I would have liked him to have a sibling, Chili Grin

Well unless it's a BBQ in which case they're standing in a wide-legged stance wielding tongs whilst the missus puts a salad on the table.
NiceGerbil · 01/08/2020 15:32

Why is it only women who view eating ice cream, and feeding cats, as a highly sensual activity?

Many cat food ads are weird as fuck.

At least the women in the dodgy guts ads don't have to look like they're sexually aroused about it. Yet...

No but they all look fabulously healthy and thin looking. Obviously their diet of 90% leaves can't be doing them any good if they always have bloating issues.

I hear his sister is Cayenne...

If men don’t eat yogurt someone better tell my DH who has done the shopping and filled to top shelf with the bloody stuff. AGAIN.

Also , men don’t dance around laughing with their friends. Now I don’t either but according to incontinence, clothes ads etc. I should be.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 01/08/2020 17:05

My dh devours a bowl of Greek-style every day.
I can’t stand the stuff.

Deathraystare · 01/08/2020 18:26

True, very true!

MiddleClassProblem · 01/08/2020 19:08

Greek/Greek-style is clearly the manliest of all the yoghurts

ItsAlwaysSunnyOnMN · 01/08/2020 19:14

They don’t eat salad and laugh about it too

Poor men

PercyKirke · 01/08/2020 19:16

This is a new thing. Back in the day there was a sitcom about 3 female cabin crew in a flat where the one male character's defining trait was he was always eating a pot of yoghurt.

AintOverUntilTheCatLadySings · 02/08/2020 14:45

@00100001 @SerenityNowwwww they also claimed that overweight people didn't eat yoghurt- because it was a 'healthy snack', so no one over a size 6/8 allowed to be pictured.

These were sugary flavoured low-fat yoghurts that come in individual pots. Can't remember the brand, unfortunately.

So I think it's actually a thing - Big Yoghurt Corp doesn't see men, bame or anyone over a size 8 as their target audience. Only willowy orgasmic white women.

SerenityNowwwww · 02/08/2020 14:48

Ski - was it ski??? They don’t really eat the flavoured stuff in the ME. Besides the fruit used is the really nasty stuff and it’s packed with sugar and if you are really lucky, gelatine 🤢

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 02/08/2020 14:53

gracielane have you ever done the milk and yoghurt diet? Two weeks of only being able to drink milk (and water), and eat yoghurt- nothing else allowed. I did it before I had surgery and lost over a stone.

Sootikinstew · 02/08/2020 18:44

@AndNoneForGretchenWieners urgh, that sounds terrible.

AintOverUntilTheCatLadySings · 04/08/2020 16:41

@SerenityNowwwww I genuinely can't remember the brand tbh

PlanDeRaccordement · 04/08/2020 16:45

My theory is because eating the probiotic yoghurt keeps thrush away, so it is marketed to women as women are the ones who suffer from thrush (men can get it too but usually are asymptomatic and do not suffer).

PlanDeRaccordement · 04/08/2020 17:12

The reality is probably the fact that women make over 80% of family purchasing decisions. So, with most buyers of food being female, they market to the buyers.

afternoon22 · 04/08/2020 17:16

I am a man. I eat yoghurt. I even buy it.

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 04/08/2020 17:36

I eat the smallest amount of yogurt out of the 4 of us in the family- I am the only female.

Sootikinstew · 04/08/2020 19:45

@afternoon22

What kind? Is is manly man Skyr Viking yoghurt?

Gonna take a guess it isn't sugar free, fat free, strawberry Activia! That's a female yoghurt!
