Roast Lamb, roast potatoes, runner beans, carrot and swede mash, mint jelly and gravy.

happypotamus · 19/07/2020 17:02

Kung pao cauliflower. But, apparently, they only had really small cauliflowers in the supermarket so we might end up with a very small dinner today.

Sairafina · 19/07/2020 17:03

We had a slow cooker lemon/garlic chicken with new potatoes, green veggies, carrots and cauliflower cheese.
I’ve made brownies for pudding, we’re having them with salted caramel ice-cream about 6pm.

happytoday73 · 19/07/2020 17:27

@BahMooQuackBahMooQuack
Yes I do.. My mums recipe but its never as nice as my mum makes!
Never dry as lots and lots of tomatoes/puree etc... Lots of sauce

iklboo · 19/07/2020 17:29

I'm cheating today and using a Chicken Tonight jar but I add Dijon mustard and tarragon for extra flavour. Grin

Icequeen01 · 19/07/2020 17:31

We are having an oven baked leek and bacon risotto which is really easy to make and delicious. I just need to get myself off my bottom to go and make it. In my defence I have already made a chilli for DS20 who doesn't like risotto but I knew would be starving when he got in from work so I made it so he had something to eat when he came in.

UsernameTaken76 · 19/07/2020 17:34

Takeaway roast dinner, I had turkey, stuffing & a pig in blanket and DH had pork belly & crackling. Both of them came with a big Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese, carrot & swede mash, summer greens, roast potatoes & gravy. I’ve got sticky toffee pudding for my dessert & DH has lemon tart with raspberries.

catbellz · 19/07/2020 17:40

M&S Cumberland Pie (ready made) I love it and have not had it for ages. Really looking forward to it.
